Harry had kept himself awake with thoughts of his future. His future job, his future husband, his future kids, basically his future everything. It was like that movie back to the future with the rocket car except the car was a magical necklace and the person going back was his future self and family. How cool was that? He remembered when the movie came out Dudley had begged to see it. Their neighbor couldn't watch him so the Dursleys had to take him. Since he waas nly just about to turn five they couldn't have left him alone at the house. While the movie was amazing, the memory still had the Dursleys in it.
He hated them with all of his being and yet somehow he couldn't get free of them. It was the never ending battle of not having any other family. He had tried many times to get Dumbledore to move him away from them, but with there being no place Harry could go and the fact he was still a minor. He still stayed with those awful people. Harry wondered if Dumbledore was against him for some reason. He had a ton of power, surely he could help Harry out. Faith in the man was lost. So, this year instead of going to Dumbledore with his problems he went to Proffesser Mcgonagall. She was very kind to him while he explained his situation.
After hearing his story, she said something along the lines of "I told Dumbledore those muggles were awful but he excused it with them being your only living family, I mean what in merlin's name is that man thinking!?" She told him that if he couldn't find a place by the end of the year she would take him in.
That thought made him happy, but he still couldn't sleep. So, he ended up going to the astronomy tower to stargaze. He snuck up using his invisability cloak and sat in his new favorite spot. Which was a small intent in the wall that held your back and shoulders in a comfortable almost cradle like position. It was the place where he and Draco had sat underneath the cloak and learned about the truth behind the twins. It was a nice crevice, it was so nice in fact that after only about 5 minutes of stargazing Harry was out like a light.
When he came to the next morning, he was cuddled up against a big warm mass. He didnt seem to be in any danger so he leaned on the warm thing, wanting it to last forever. When a yawn was heard he opened his eyes to meet a pair of groggy grey eyes and a messy mop of blond hair. So it was his warm mass he cuddled with. That was definitely reassuring. "Five more minutes" Draco mumbled, still half asleep. Harry chuckled running his hand through dracos blond hair, that was surprisingly soft considering how many times it got gelled back. "Draco, it's time to get up" he whispered soothingly. "C'mon baby jus' a little long'r" Draco slurred. Oh so he was baby, he was totally teasing Draco about this later.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter, so sorry it has taken this long. School has just started for me and it's hard to get back in the groove. I am so appreciative of all your continued support for this story. And for those who may have thought I was done with the story there are still plenty more things you don't know yet. A whole new arc that is just around the corner! Stay tuned for spoilers in some of my other books and chapters! I love you all!
