Chapter~29

"Did they just say dad?" Harry thought, "I thought I was dad. Me and Draco are their future parents right?" Curiosities getting the best of him he made his way in the direction the voice came from. Close behind was Draco who seemed equally as eager to figure out what was happening. Soon as they made it to the doors they heard voices. They were familiar yet different in a way, like an old memory that was fuzzy and hazed.

Opening the door slowly not knowing what to expect. To their shock, they didn't actually see anyone. They looked again and saw Kate and Mason at the end of the hallway chatting with someone around the corner. Harry hoped that whoever the two were talking wouldn't bolt before they got there. Grabbing Draco's hand Harry rushed toward the kids.

Mason and Kate turned due to their loud and sloppy footsteps. They finally came to a halt and looked around the corner. Auror cloaks billowed behind the two tall men. One had messy brown hair and the other a long ponytail of blonde locks. The blonde blew kisses and the brunette waved. They both looked back for just a second and winked at him and Draco before disappearing into thin air.

"Your parents are cool," Harry commented in awe. "Yeah they are" Kate agreed, "they work really hard for us."

"And they always try to make our lives better, they told us that made a promise. That no matter what we came first. When I was younger I didn't understand but now I think I do. I want to be like them when I grow up," Mason added. Kate nodded.

Harry had only barely seen their faces but based on the fact that Mason had just shared with them, those two strong individuals might have been them. They looked pretty badass in the future. He looked over at Draco who seemed to be glued to the spot where they disappeared. His face was flushed slightly. Harry could remember the faces. They were hot in the future, like damn what a glow up.

Shaking Draco, they were both back in the real world. They looked over at Kate and Mason who were staring at them. They must have been pretty silent and awkward for a while. "So why did you guys follow us?" Kat asked. "We were curious who raised you and who looked up to so dearly," Harry responded thinking it was a pretty good cover. Kate apparently bought and replied with "oh yeah I guess we do talk about them quite a bit."

After the siblings took their leave Harry turned to Draco, "you are a super hottie in the future," then he turned and left.
