After he admitted to only sleeping with the soft, brown bear because its scent reminded him of Namjoon, the adult couldn't help but smile, unable to keep a straight face when looking at his son in the eye.

"Now you're laughing at me..." Jin pouted, softly smiling at the floor. Namjoon tilted his chin upwards, softly caressing his face until the boy's eyes were eventually met with his own.

Then, he explained the reason behind his smile. "I find it cute that you like to sleep with this bear, Jinnie. I slept with this brown bear until I was your age, then I packed him up and moved into a college dorm." Jin furrowed his eyebrows at the man.

"And what happened after you moved in, daddy?" The younger boy asked, sitting down on a cushioned couch, while elevating his foot in the air. Namjoon startled his son when he held his thin ankle and slowly pulled his leg up to his lap.

"Lay back, it's okay."

"B-but Mommy Minji will be mad. She doesn't like messes, Appa Joonie." Jin tried moving his foot away from the couch, but his dad reassured him that it was fine.

"You have my approval to rest them up here, son. Besides, your feet aren't dirty, you took a shower before, so it's fine." He gave up and rested his aching legs on the couch, listening
to his father.

"After I moved in, I was busy with so many things that I ended up packing him away and never slept with him again." Jin gasped.

"APPA JOONIE! How could you do that to a poor boy! He must have been so sad! You're a playboy!" Namjoon's eyes widened, as he stared down at Jin, wondering what went through the boy's mind when telling him such an absurd thing.

"Jin... Jinnie, what are you talking about? WHO are you talking about??" He questioned, staring at the boy, who was staring back at him, crossing his arms.

"The... The boy you met in college. Didn't you just say that you stopped sleeping with him, and packed him away? That was so mean. The boy must have been scared." Namjoon shut his eyes tightly, while holding his abdomen.

Jin wondered why the adult was laughing so loudly.

"THE BEAR. The bear, my dear son... Oh, I can't do this." He sighed, wiping the tears that had formed near the corners of his eyes as he cocked his head back, chuckling while Jin apologized.

"It's okay, you made my night with this, little one." Jin's perfect teeth peered through his plump lips, as he smiled brightly at Namjoon, keeping his eyes locked on him. Namjoon's smile had captivated him, and he couldn't lower his gaze even for a moment.

Namjoon guided his hands underneath the boy's legs, and this caused him to widen his eyes. Though he wasn't sure what the adult was going to do, he remained still and let it be.

Come what may.

And in that precise moment, the man simply stood up off of the couch and announced that he was going to arrange Soo A's bedroom, earning a sigh from Jin while he stared at Namjoon.

"Stay here, and don't move- Oh! They're here." There was a loud knock on the door. Jin crossed his legs, unsure about what to do. He was nervous to meet Soo A again, and happy at the same time. He missed Soo A so much.

But, to his surprise, Minji and Soo A weren't the ones who appeared at the door. It was a small group of unknown people, who were all greeting Namjoon.

Since Namjoon was very well acquainted with them, he introduced Seokjin to them as his son.

"This is Jin, he's my son. Say hi, Jinnie!" Jin waved at the people, who were shocked to hear about this.

"WOAH! You had a son?! How long has it been since we last saw each other, Joon? Are you still 24? Or are you 67? Because you're getting old, man!" His friend joked, earning a playful punch from Namjoon on the arm.

"H- Hi, I'm Jin. Nice to meet you." Jin shyly greeted them with a short wave and a confused look on his face.

"Okay, guys, so here's what we need to do. In this room, I want you to move this into that room, right there." Jin could only guess what the adults were discussing with Namjoon when working upstairs.

Instead of being imprudent and interrogating the men with questions, specifically his dad, Jin occupied himself by watching TV. The movies they were giving weren't bad, but they didn't truly match his liking, so he kept on changing the channels until he found something suitable for his age.

"¡Hola! Soy Dora!" The bilingual kiddy cartoon was making Jin sleepy, so he turned himself over slowly on the couch, and snuggled the brown bear close to his chest, and eventually, the teen fell asleep.

"Jinnie, wakie wakie! Eggs and cakey!" Minji's voice softly echoed through her son's sensitive ears. He immediately sat up on the couch and earned a hug from her.

"Look who's here!!" Jin's eyes widened when he noticed a little girl was sat on the ground, playing with a pair of dollies.

"SOO A!!" The girl quickly stood up off of the floor and ran into Jin's arms, hugging him tightly, with joy.

"JinJin!! You're my big brother now, JinJin! I love youuuuu!!" Namjoon and Minji felt complete, now that they had Jin and Soo A in their lives. They even felt emotional when watching the two holding onto each other, and playing with toys.

"B-big brother?! Yahhh, look who's talking. You're not little anymore, did you have a growth spurt overnight?! Look at how tall you are!" Soo A giggled, nodding at the older boy who was cheerful towards her.

"Now we get to celebrate Valentine's Day together!" Jin spoke, cuddling his little sister, as she clung onto him, playing with his hair.

"Valentine's Day, and many many more events together, sweetheart." The couple bend down and engulfed the kids in their arms, pulling each other in for a warm, group hug.

"This is all I ever wanted... A family that loves me." Jin shut his eyes for a moment, while looking over his shoulder, holding back on crying.

When he opened them again, he noticed that Namjoon was looking at him, smiling.

"And a family that I could love as well." The boy smiled back at Namjoon. He was now ready to begin a new chapter in his life, learning to let go of his old memories to replace them with the new ones he would make with his new family.
