I was currently in the car with jack talking about my middle name " I'm not tell you my middle name " I said for the third time " why not? Oh my god ! Your so stubborn just tell me!" Jack said getting frustrated " I'm not telling you ! Oh my god it's weird " I said doing hand motions " oh my god. Whatever I'm not dealing with you I'll get it out of you one way or another " jack said clenching his jaw " your cute " I said kissing his cheek " stop I'm driving " jack said laughing " oooh okay I see " I said playfully " no I didn't mean -" jack said before I cut him off " no I see your just trying to protect me , don't worry I find it cute " I said giggling "you scared me oh my god I seriously thought you were mad" he said " why would I be mad for that? " I said laughing " I don't know " jack said I laughed " your a weirdo " I said pinching his cheeks " hey only my grandma is allowed to pinch my cheeks " jack said swapping my hand away " well " I said I heard my phone ringing under me " who is it?" Jack said " my dad " I said confused I answered " hello?" I said " hey honey ! How are you? I miss you" he said I could clearly hear he was drunk of course " hey I'm great " I said keeping the conversation short " how's Bella and your mom?" He slurred " they're doing much better now " I said through my teeth " well I got to go bye" I said quickly hanging up I sighed fighting the tears back " you okay?" Jack asked squeezing my knee a little " yeah I'm fine " I said they rest of the car ride went silent.
It was exactly a 6 days from Christmas , I was currently with jack at Mike's house " let's go hit one real fast" Sammy said " guys you know I hate when you guys smoke around me" I said none of them knew exactly why , I had asthma , not even jack knows I've never really been the type of person to go up to someone and say " I have asthma " like its a good thing " c'mon just one " Sammy pleaded " okay but I'm leaving its getting late" I said getting my stuff " wait babe" jack said running up the stairs for me " you can't go home I brought you here " he said " I'll call my mom or a taxi " I said " why are you leaving? I thought we were gunna hang out and it's only 1:38pm " jack said " I know but I don't want to interrupt your moment with the friends" I said not wanting to argue with him or tell him why " why don't you ever stick around when I smoke? I want you to be there but your always running away why?" Jack asked frustrated I took a step back looking down at the floor " jack it's not easy and I really don't wanna argue right now " I said shaking my head taking another step back " Vivian just fucking tell me what's the big deal" jack said rising his voice making me slightly jump "jack It's not easy for me to just say it, it's weird to me " I said sternly " just fucking tell me you act like it's such a bad thing " jack said taking a step closer " I have asthma jack " I whispered " what?" He asked " jack I have asthma , I can't be around smoke or anything like that , my asthma is really bad, it's been months since I last got an attack , the first time I discovered that is when I almost died, it was really scary for me. My dad use to smoke around me and it was hard till one day I got an attack and my mom told him that he had to stop smoking or he had to leave the house " I said sighing holding back the tears of how scared I was the first time I ever got an asthma attack " Vivian why didn't you tell me? I would have stopped smoking around you" jack said looking at me in the eyes " I was scared too that's why I was always cover my face with something or go to the bathroom" I said " why would you be scared?" Jack asked confused " I was scared that you would leave me for telling you I couldn't be around while you smoked , and I also thought you would consider me as some freak " I said sighing " I wouldn't do that Vivian , are you crazy? Yes we don't have the perfect relationship but I wouldn't think of you as a freak or even break up with you" jack said " I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier , now will you excuse me I have to go " I said walking out " Vivian wait. I'll stop" jack said walking behind me " stop what?" I asked confused " stop smoking , I promise you I'll stop smoking ,around you, I'll just quit it, from now and on I won't smoke" he said " jack you don't have to do that. I just don't wanna be around you when you smoke that's all, it's fine if you smoke just not around me" I said smiling slightly " are you sure?" Jack asked " yes I'm sure " I said smiling and pulled him into a hug and pecked his lips " thank you for being the best girlfriend" he said with his eyes closed " thank you for accepting me as who I am " I said smiling kissing his " GET A ROOM !" Mike and Sammy yelled I pulled away and laughed jack looked back and laughed too " stay? Please?" Jack said " as long as you won't smoke around me " I said "thank you" he said kissing me running back downstairs.
