Everything Happens for a Reason

Part 11.

The next day when I wake up I don't have a text from him. I'm scared to think about what he was going to decide. If we can't do anything like we have done before then I at least want to be friends with him.

To pass time i decided to call Korey to see how everything was going with thier packing. Since a new house built behing our old house my parents are giving my aunt and Korey our old house. I was so excited when they told me since Korey and I aren't that close this is going to give us some time to spend with each other. We talk about all the stuff that has been happening since we talked last. Nothing really has changed since the last time.

While I'm on the phone with her I get a message. I put her on speaker and check it, and it was just Lexi wondering if Shane has text me yet. I text her back and say no that I will see him in a hour or two when we go to get Shane for church. Lexi said that maybe that he is waiting for church to tell me. That could be true, so I tell Korey that I need to get off the phone and get ready for church and she tells me that she will see me there. I hang up and start getting ready.

We are heading to get Shane and the rest of his family in the church van. As soon as we pull up he gets in and he sits by me and pulls me close and says that we are dating again and at first I was like wait what? And he said me and you are back together if that is okay with you. Yes! I say. And he hugs me and kisses me and everyone is staring at that moment. I just laugh and I'm so excited. We get to church and we walk in and we sit beside each other and hold hands and I feel so happy to have him as mine again.

We have been dating for 3 weeks now and we are just love struck and we have had our fights but what couples don't. We are heading to church one Wednesday night and Lexi said something about someone liking Shane and I asked her who and she said Tori and so I told her to let me see the messages where she said she liked him so I got mad and Shane was trying to calm me down so I wouldn't flip out on her. As soon as we got to church I didn't see her anywhere. Luckily. Shane made me go sit down and Korey showed up and I told her.

"What's wrong"

"Bitch, liking my man."

"what who"

"Tori"

"oh shit. Shit is fixing to get real. "

"Shane won't let me do anything."

"Damn"

"yeah"

Tori showed up five minutes later and Shane had to hold me down.finally I just let it go. Until Lexi said that she was talking about it. That's when I got really mad.

After the service was over we went outside and Shane went to play football and I could tell something was wrong. So I just walked around with Korey, cause Lexi was hanging out with Tori because Lexi was going to her house. Lexi ran over to me.

"Hailey, you need to talk to Ken. "

"Why?"

"He's saying something about how he should have stayed with Miley and something else. I couldn't hear all of it. "

"okay. "

I walk up to Shane and try to talk to him but he walked away, so I just walked the other way.

When we get on the church van Shane sits by me surprisingly. I decided to text Tori and tell her that he's mine and that no one is going to take him from me. I get a text back after awhile.

*Well you shouldn't have taken Lexis phone*

*I didn't take Lexi's phone she showed it to me. *

*Whatever*

*Yeah Whatever.*

*So just stop with all the drama*

*Really, my drama. Your the one sitting there liking my man when you set there and call us best friends. Really. "bestfriends" don't do that. *

*whatever*

I threw my phone down and I lay my head on the seat in front of Shane and I. Shane ask me where my phone is and get it and put in my password and hand it to him. I don't know who he is texting but I'm pretty for sure that it's Tori. Shane puts my phone beside me and says that he took care of it. I felt my phone vibrate so I pick it up and it's Tori. So I know he text her. When I read what he said I can't believe everything he said. It wasnt much but he made sure that she knew he was mine and that nothing is going to change that. I don't even text her back I just put my phone down and put my head in my hands.

Before I now it Shane takes my hand and pulls it in the air to make my face meet his and he kisses me. It surprises me but I still kiss back. When he pulls away from me he pushes his forehead to mine and
Says

"I'm sorr.."

I push my finger to his lips before he could say the whole word and I tell him that there is nothing to be sorry about and that I'm the one who needed to be sorry. The rest of the way home we talked and kissed. It was amazing and I told him that nothing was going to come between us.

After I got home I went to my room and read the messages that he sent to Tori.

*Look no offence or anything but I don't like you like that. You're a good friend and everything but I'm happy who I'm with. And I'm in love with her so we can be friends but nothing more. *

I kept reading that message over and over again. And I can't help but read the I'm in love with her part more than the rest of it. He loves me! And I'm in love with him. But he hasn't said it to me yet, and I don't know why. But hopefully soon he will.
