Everything Happens for a Reason

part 12.

The next day Shane called me to ask me if we were still going to the water park tomorrow.

"I don't know if I want to go since Lexi is going to be there. I was just going to see if I could come hang out with you instead."

"well my parents said that I could go with you tomorrow."

"okay we'll go"

"okay well I have to go I'll text you later babe."

"okay bye"

"bye."

While I was thinking about last night I listen to music and cleaned a little. I had the house to myself to it was quiet without my brothers and my mom so I just cleaned the rest of the day and did some laundry. When they got back my mom was surprised. I even cleaned my brothers room so they were surprised too. I told my mom that Shane can go with us tomorrow and that he needed to know what time we will be there to get him. After I give her a minute to tell me what time it would be, she finally tells me.

I text Shane and tell him that we will be there at 9 to get him and Shane says okay and ask if it would be okay if Mike could come with him cause he was going to be at his house by himself.

Mike is Kens other brother. Mike is a year younger than Ken and about the same height. I ask my mom if it would be okay but she doesn't think that there will be enough room for him to go. I text Shane and tell him and he said okay that it's okay. My mom comes back to my room and tells me that Mike can come cause there will be one more spot. So I text Shane again and tell him that Mike can cause there will be one spot left and Shane is excited about it, cause he won't be alone cause my brothers kinda get on his nerves.

When we get to Shanes house the next day, Shane and Mike come out and I sit in the middle and Shane sits on one side of me and Mike sits on the other. We go back to my house for awhile since it isn't time to meet Lexi's mom. When we get there Shane and Mike put there swimming trunks on. Shane and I sit on the love seat and we talk and wait for my mom to leave and Shanes phone goes off and when he put in his password to see who it is and it's he's dad making sure that Mike went with him,and when he went back to his home screen I look at it and I'm his back ground. I look up at him with a smile on my face and he looks and me.

"What?"

"I'm your back ground?"

"Yeah." he says with a smile on his face.

We kiss and as soon as we pull away we noticed my mom standing there. She's standing there smiling at us and we look at eachother and his face is red and I'm pretty sure that my face is red as well. She tells us that it is time for us to leave. We stand up and get into the crowded car again and head that way.

When we get to the place that we are supposed to meet my aunt, we pull up beside them and and I look over to my aunt's car and Lexi has her friend Crystal. Crystal and Lexi have been friends for awhile. I was glad to see her in there. Not just cause Crystal and me are kinda friends but also she can keep Lexi away from Shane and me.

When we get to the water park my aunt comes over to me.

"I don't want no fighting. You and Lexi are too close to let some boy come between you two.

"okay. "

When I turn around I see Shane standing there. I knew that he heared what my aunt said but I was hoping that he didn't. When we get up there to pay I noticed that Shane wasn't talking to me now and when we got into the water park we put our thing in the chairs and Shane and Mike put their things at a different table. I put my things down and took my flip flops off and I watched as Mike and Shane walked over to the diving board. I waited to get in cause I need something to drink before I go get in the pool.

Lexi and Crystal walked over to the table and my aunt looked at us and gave us this look.

"if you two don't make up right now I'm going to make both of you guys kiss."

We looked at each other and started laughing and we walked over to each other and hugged one another.

I looked up and I seen Shane looking at me and he still hasn't gotten in the pool. I guess he's waiting for me to get in the pool. Mike walks up to me and tells me that Shane wants me to get in before he does.

I finally go get in and I watch Shane go off of the diving board and Im very impressed. He swims over to me.

"So you guys made up."

"My aunt said that if we didn't that she was going to make us kiss each other so yeah I guess so. "

"Well I'll be nice but that's it"

"You don't have to do anything."

"okay. "

"okay. What's wrong? "

"nothing. Why"

"I know you heard what my aunt said. "

"And? "

"I know that you are thinking about something"

"no I'm not"

" okay."

"okay. "

We swim for a little bit together and when he would go and jump off the diving board I would watch him.

When he got back from jumping he said that he's going to change cause he's done swimming for today. I tell him to go ahead that I want to swim some more.

When he gets out Lexi and Crystal swim over and talk to me. Lexi ask me to go jump off the diving board with them. So I get up there and as soon as its my turn Shane comes out of the changing rooms and smiles when he sees me up there and when I go to jump off the diving board he looks away. I'm glad that he does though cause I didn't want him to see me jump off.

I get out and go over to Shane and sit by him. And he has a dip in his mouth. I love it when he dips. I don't know why I do I just do. I get dressed and go back out there and Shane is waiting for me to come out.

We get all of our things and leave. We get into the car and Shane puts his hand on my leg and I put mine on his. I ask my mom if it would be okay if Shane comes over before I go to my dads house so he can meet my dad. It takes her awhile to say yes. But she does.

When we get to my house Mike goes and plays with my brothers so that way Shane and I could have some time to ourselves. We kissed for awhile and we went out side and we walk around and he walks up to me and we are standing real close and when he goes to turn away I grab his hand and pull him back and kiss him and when I look up I see my dad pulling in. I run inside and grab my things and put them in my dad's truck.

I yell for Shane to come on. I can tell that he doesn't really want to but does anyways.

"dad this is Shane."

"Shane this is my dad Keith. "

"Hello nice to meet you sir"

"nice to meet you Shane."

We stand there in silence.

"okay well I'll text you later." I finally say after awhile.

"okay bye"

"bye"
