Part 15.

Shane and I have been dating for awhile. We have been dating longer then anytime before. I'm excited that we are still together. When we talk everyday I'm not as stressed as I was before. I could actually call him babe without feeling like I shouldn't. Even though I shouldn't have been calling him that, I actually believe him. When he tells me he's not going anywhere I mean I believed him when he said before but this time just feels different.

I'm at my dad's this weekend and Shane text me asking me if he could tell me something. And I say of course. You can tell me anything. As soon as I send that text message my dad asks me if want to go drive in the field. So I hop in his truck and go driving and I forget my phone at the house. When I get back I have 3 messages from him.

*Okay.*

*I love you Hailey!*

*I'm sorry... I shouldn't have said that.*

As soon as I read that my heart dropped. Oh no. I hurry up and text him back.

*I'm sorry I was driving in the field and left my phone at the house. I love you too.*

*Okay. I was starting to freak out.*

*I'm so sorry.*

*Its fine. I'm just glad you feel the same way!*

*Of course I do!*

The next week was amazing! It was almost time to move and I was packing my stuff and things couldn't be going better with me and Shane.

Shane and I are talking and he brings up something that I never thought he would bring up.To me anyways.

*What do you think about marriage?*

*I don't know why*

*I'm just wondering.*

After that I text Korey and tell her what just happened and as shocked as I am. When I finally get out of shock I tell her to send him a picture of how I want to get proposed to. She said that she would. So I waited to see what she said and she finally text after a few minutes which felt like hours. She told me that he would do that but he doesn't have a ring. I text him back.

* Babe you don't have to have a ring to propose to me.*

* are you sure*

*yeah babe. As long as I know that we are then that all that's matters. *

*okay*

Then all of a sudden this happen.

*Hailey, Will you marry me? *

*Yesssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!*

* Good!!!! *

*yeessssss!!! *

*haha I love you babe. *

* I love you too babe! *

I was really excited when I got that message. I told Lexi and I told Korey. I didn't tell anyone else about it cause he didn't want his family to start anything else. Which I could see that cause the last time he asked someone to marry him she put it on facebook and his family griped him out since he was young. We talked for hours and before I know it we are acting like we are already married.

We talked like this all the time and it was amazing! I loved the way he would call me his girl or his soon be to wife. I just loved it. This was the best thing that has happened to me.

On a Sunday morning we went to church I asked him if he wanted to come hangout with me after church but he had to babysit his brothers, so he suggested that I go hangout with him and Tj. I asked my mom if it was okay if I go hang out with them and she don't care. I tell Shane that she doesn't care. Shane asked me if I think Lexi would want to come to so I won't be alone and so she can keep Tj company while Shane and I hangout. I asked her and she was a little nervous about it at first but she finally said that she would. I told Shane that she said that she would come so Shane asked his aunt. Shane told me that she didn't care that we came over.

I was a little nervous at first but once we got there it wasn't so bad. His aunt had to leave cause she had work so we were there alone. We hung out in the living room and in the bedroom. I would take care of his little cousin if he was doing something. Lexi and I went in the bedroom and was talking, then Shane came in there and sat by me. We was going through his phone and picked a song. Shane hooked his phone up to big speakers and turned it up as high as it would go. Then walked out of the room. I got up and turned the music down and he walked back into the room laughing he sat beside me and I put my arm around his waist. He looked at me and said this is our song and kissed me. Shane got up and walked into the kitchen to help his cousin. And then walked into his aunts room, and set down on their bed. I walked into her room and sat beside him.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Nothing."

"something is. "

"nothing is."

"okay."

He lays down and he tells me that I can lay down too so I lay down and put my head on his chest and wrap my arm around his stomach. He puts his arm around the back of my head. He rubs my arm as he is talking and I lift up his hand and start playing with his ring finger and I look up at him and smile.

"what? " he asked me with a smile on his face.

"I'm just picturing a ring on your finger."

"I had a dream about it last night and when I woke up I was sad to see that it wasn't there. "

"really? "

"yeah"

We laid there for awhile and he kept rubbing my arm and then he reachs over and starts playing with my chest and I looked up at him and smiled and he stopped and said sorry. I looked at him and said it's okay I'm just not ready and he says you never know until you try. I I just laid there and let him. Finally after awhile I raised up and leaned over him and kissed him. We kissed forever. Then Tj coughed. I turned around to see Tj and Lexi standing there. I get off the bed and so does Shane. Shane hears someone pull up he looks out the window it's my mom. I start to walk out of the room and then I walk back and kiss Shane goodbye. I walk out side and get in my moms car.

Shane texted me.
*I miss you already*

*I miss you too.*

*We are going to finish That some time.*

*hmmm maybe.*

I had a lot of fun hanging out with him today. Lexi told me about all the stuff her and Tj talked about. She was really glad that she came a long.
