THE WHOLE TIME DARYL WAS IN WOODBURY, all he could think about was getting back to Caroline. When a bag was shoved over his head, all he could think about was his promise.
As his brother pinned him to the ground, walkers and the cheers of the people of Woodbury around him, all he could think about it how he might not be able to keep his promise.
Gun shots filled the air and soon there was smoke and flash bangs.
Soon, they all made it out. Oscar died helping them get out, but now they had Merle to deal with.
It was clear no one wanted him there but Daryl. But Merle was blood, he'd been missing since Atlanta, and he wasn't going to let him go so easily.
They ran the two miles back to the cars through the woods. Everyone was on edge, wondering if any of the Woodbury citizens had followed them.
But now that he was outside those fences, Daryl could think about finally getting back to Caroline. And being with his brother again.
"Glenn!" Rick hissed through the trees and soon Glenn and Michonne came running to meet them,
"Oh, thank God."
Rick raised his hand towards them, knowing what was about to happen. "Now we got a problem here. I need you to back up."
Glenn raised his gun, "What the hell is he doing here?!" He yelled, and Michonne had taken out her sword.
Daryl stood in front of his brother while Rick took care of Michonne and Maggie took care of Glenn,
"He tried to kill me!" Michonne yelled,
"If it wasn't for him-"
"He helped us get out of there." Daryl informed Glenn,
"Yeah, right after he beat the shit out of you." Rick replied, his gun still aimed at Michonne,
"Hey, we both took our licks, man." Merle commented,
"Jackass." Daryl growled at his brother.
Now was the time for the older Dixon to shut up.
"Hey, shut up." Merle called to his brother,
"Enough!" Rick yelled, turning towards Merle. Michonne took the opportunity to step forward but Rick turned back towards, her, "Hey, hey, relax! Put that down now!'
"Get that thing out of my face!" Daryl hissed at Glenn,
"Man, look like you've gone native, brother." Merle joked to his brother,
"No more than you hanging out with that psycho back there." Daryl replied bitterly, turning to face his brother,
"Oh, yeah, man. He is a charmer, I got to tell you that." Merle looked over at the darker skinned woman, "Been putting the wood to your girlfriend Andrea. Big time, baby."
