Chapter 2 - Just To Be With You

"That's it? That's all I have to do?" Fengjiu asks. "Yes that's all you have to do and everyone will get their happy ending. No one gets hurt either." the voice says. The tipsy Fengjiu loves the ideal and agrees right away without thinking about the consequences anymore. The three big red stones flashed and materialized two items in front of her. A bamboo scroll and a pretty jewel box, without any hesitation she took the two items and dashed out of the cave.

She cloud jumps to the Nine Heaven, on the way she opens the scroll and reads the incantation. She still kept drinking the bottle of wine while reading. When she finally approached the gates she just flew right in and didn't even give a chance for the guards to stop her. She ran to TaiChen Palace to look for him, like how she used to since she lived here a period of time before, she in her tipsy state still found it with no problem. She walked around every inch of the palace but still couldn't find him. The only place that she still hasn't looked was his personal chamber. She pushed through the doors startling the one inside.

"WHO IS IT!" he roars. "Dijun..." she whispers. He quickly realized who it was and got up from the bed in anger. "What are you doing here? Are you drunk?" he asks while he grabs his outer robe and throws it around his shoulder. "Dijun I am not drunk. What you said last time, is it still true?" she asks him with a spaced outed look. "You're drunk, you should leave immediately!" he says firmly "I am asking if it is still true!" she asks fiercely while hitting him on the chest with her small fists. "JIU'ER!" he scolds her. "Just tell me! Yes or no!" she screams at him as tears fall down her face.

He pushes her away and turns away from her. "I already told you, you're not an ordinary girl, we can't be together even if I still love you." he replies. "So, you still love me! That's all I want to hear!" as she speaks she takes out the jewel box and starts the spell, behind him. She bites into her finger and drips a few drops of blood onto the top of the box. While she started the incantation the box started to open up, a large gust of wind suddenly appeared in the chamber sucking into the box.

At this point Dijun then realized that Jiu'er had done something stupid. "Jiu'er what did you do?" he yells at her while pulling away from the box that had levitated into the air from her hand. She was shocked and scared at what's happening. "I don't know. It's not supposed to happen like this." she says with a confused look. Everything and everyone is getting sucked into the box, not even Dijun himself could stop it at this point.

He quickly put a barrier around them, "Jiu'er what is going on? Where did you get this thing?" he asks while trying to hold the barrier. "I don't remember I just got it before coming here. I was walking in Qingqiu and I came upon a cave and there were three big red flashing rocks. The rocks started talking to me and it knew that about our situation and it said it can help me get my wish come true. It gave me that box and this scroll" as she finishes saying she pulls it out from her sleeves.

He angrily took the scroll from her hand and quickly looked through it. "How foolish are you!? Did you not read through it? This is..." he gets interrupted when the wind gets really strong and starts sucking them towards the box. "Dijun I'm sorry! I'm sorry" she yells out.

As everything is disappearing into the box, people that she knows one by one get sucked in through the chamber... her friends, her family and even people that she doesn't know at all.

"Xiaojiu what's... going... on?" her Guge asks her while trying to hold on tight to something. "Gugu I'm sorry! I'm sorry" she cries while she is seeing everything and people getting wiped out. "It's all my fault, all my fault!" she keeps crying.

"Yehua, A'Li!" BaiQian calls out when she sees him getting sucked into the chamber along with A'Li. Not long after the three of them also got sucked into the box. "Gugu... Gugu... A'Li..." she cries out.

Not long after, a familiar voice came out of nowhere. "Donghua... Donghua... ha ha ha ha ha ha" the voice laughs out loud. "Miao Luo, it's you!" Donghua yells out. "Yes it is I! How do you like this present that I had prepared for you ha ha ha ha" she laughs. "What did you do?" he asks. "I didn't really do anything, I just granted both your wishes that's all. Soon I will break free from your seal and this world will be all mine! Hahahaha" she laughs.

The wind just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Fengjiu was getting pulled towards the box out of his barrier. "JIU'ER!" he screams her name while pulling her back towards his chest embracing her tightly. While her head is buried into his chest she cries and sobs. "Donghua I'm sorry... it's my fault... I'm sorry... if it wasn't for me none of this would have happened." she continues to cries and sobs. "Jiu'er I promise you nothing will happen to you, I won't let anything happened to you!" he whispers into her ears. In another flash, the wind got so strong Fengjiu was getting suck out of his grip towards the box then the whole world vanished along with Donghua.

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep...

"BAI FENG JIU!... BAI FENG JIU!... BAI FENG JIU!... Get up, the sun is up so high it is almost shining on your bum!" BaiYi screams while banging on her door. All of a sudden she was shockingly woken up. She's looking everywhere in her room, it all looks strange to her. But the voice she is still hearing outside the door is her dad for sure. She quickly gets off the bed and runs to open the door.

"DAD!" she screams while fling opens the door and hugs him. "Dad I'm sorry! It's my fault! It's all my fault! I'm sorry!" she cries heavily. "BaiYi was confused and scared "What's wrong Xiaojiu? Are you not feeling well?" he asks while hugging her tightly. She just keeps on crying and not listening to what he had said. "Xiaojiu did you have that nightmare again? Xiaojiu, don't be afraid anymore dad is here! Don't cry anymore, everything is okay now." he comforts her. He takes her back to her bed and sits down with her.

Everyone in the family all slowly appeared in her room's entrance one after the other, after hearing the big commotions from her dad's screaming and banging. "Xiaojiu what's wrong? Did you have that bad dream again?" BaiQian asks her. "Jiejie don't cry anymore it's just a bad dream A'Li here by your side." the little one says.

"Little lassie come on don't cry anymore you're making me worry!" BaiZhen says. "What's going on here? BaiYi did you hit her again?" his mom asks. "Mother, I didn't hit her, when she opened the door she was crying already." he stated the facts. "Mama, I think she had the nightmare again." BaiQian says. She went and sits by her side "My little princess don't cry grandma is here no one will dare to hurt you!" she says while embracing her tightly. "Zhenzhen, go call ZheYan home, I don't think her emotions are too stable right now." she said worriedly. "Yes, mother!" he quickly runs out of the room.

No matter who said what, no one could stop her from crying non-stop. To her right now everything was strange and weird. What she saw not too long ago was everyone she loves and cares for all sucked into a box, everything that she loved all vanished in front of her eyes. And all of a sudden everyone appears in front of her eyes again as nothing has happened to them. But they were all dressed weirdly and in a strange place. They all seem to her is the ones she loves but something was missing that made her ponder.

ZheYan walks into her room along with BaiZhen, they quickly walk over to Fengjiu and take a look at her. He takes out his some sort of thick string with a disc on the end and two beads on the other and places the beads in his ears and the other to her back. He seems like he is listening for something for a short while and then he takes it off.

He digs out a needle and a small jar of liquid. He sticks the needle in the jar and withdraws a certain amount into the needle. He hits the needle a few times and squirts some out. He looks at Fengjiu "Xiaojiu... I'm just gonna poke you, it will hurt a little bit then you'll feel better." right after he finishes his words he's already done and she starts to feel like the world is moving on its own and she blacks out.

While she's sleeping she hears this voice that she is confident that she knows it's Dijun's. "Jiu'er no matter what happens I won't let you get hurt! Stay strong, I'll be there soon!" Fengjiu sheds a tear from her eye after hearing that voice. But she is still pondering whether that was all a dream that she had when everything is getting sucked into the box or this is a dream she's in.

ZheYan will never hurt her but he did, he will always let her choose when it comes to the type of treatment she's getting but no this time he just pokes her. Her mind is really messed up right now and she can't seem to think straight anymore. Whatever that he used on her is kicking in fast. Now all she can do is rest until Dijun comes to find her.
