Chapter 16 - Blind Dating! Nope, Ancient History Lesson!

As the days went by the two lovebirds were enjoying each other's company by simply just doing nothing but stares at each other and sleeping. Donghua was keeping on top of Fengjiu's health, with combination of ZheYan's medicine, his blood and cultivation, she was recovering much faster than before. It's finally the day where Fengjiu has to go to Nine Heaven to attend her suitors blind dating that her father BaiYi has arranged for her. Her gugu was already dragged into the mess as well. For her gugu's sake she has to go or BaiYi will scold BaiQian. If her gugu wasn't there she wouldn't even care about showing up at all. Like how she has predicted her father has asked for her little uncle BaiZhen present. So his original plan of pretending like her to show up to the meeting was a failure. Dijun doesn't want her to go but if she doesn't she will be in lots of trouble. The trouble is not hard for him to save her from but it would hurt the relationship between her and her father. He was thinking of a better solution to resolve the matter at hand but there seem to be none except marry her this instant.

Fengjiu, still laying in bed with Donghua, snuggled tightly together . She stares at his face and still she thinks none of this could be real. So she pinches his cheeks waking him up. "Xiaobai! What... are... you... doing?" he groans at her with his eyes still closed. "He he he I just want to make sure you are real. And that I'm not dreaming." she giggles and smiles at him. "Well did you got your answer yet, because it did hurt!" he whines back. "We need to go soon..." she softly says. "Where?" he asks back. "Dijun did you forget that today I have to be in Nine Heaven?" she angrily asks back. "Oh, that! Why are you so anxious about going anyways? They can wait, you're the queen of Qingqiu." he coldly says.

"Dijun are you seriously jealous right now? You know what will happen if I don't show up. Do you really want to see my father beat me to death?" she teasingly asks. "Yes of course I'm jealous! And NO he won't get to beat you I will take you away from him before he lays a finger on you. That I can for sure promise you on that." he snorts out while opening his eyes staring straight back at her.

"Dijun, so did you come up with a plan on saving me yet?" she asks. "No, I was just going to pop in and take you out." he says with a mischief smile. "What kind of plan is that If i disappear it will get my dad mad... they should be the one that runs away from me." she protests. Dijun just stares at her as she gets ready for the blind date.
