Chapter 10 - Scar From The Past

"PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES! Xiaobai I will never forget you! Never!"

"Xiaobai...

Xiaobai...

Xiaobai!"

"Dijun... Dijun... Dijun...are you okay? Dijun!" ChengYu yells. "XIAOBAI!" Donghua yells while springing up from his bed panting and confused. "ChengYu!... where am I? What happened?" he asks while rubbing his temples. "Dijun I came to look for LianSong and I found all five of you knocked out in different parts of the TaiChen Palace, there was no one else in the palace when I found all of you." ChengYu reports.

All of a sudden he remembers, "WHERE IS XIAOBAI?" he screams out. Donghua's sudden scream scared ChengYu for a bit. For ChengYu not knowing what happened here in TaiChen Palace only seeing all five of them knocked out and Dijun and Fengjiu embracing each other. Just makes her want to think that her dear little friend had done something really bad to get Dijun this mad, has her even more frightened.

She had to think for a moment who Dijun was referring to as Xiaobai, as she never heard him call Fengjiu that name before. "Dijun, Fengjiu is sleeping just on the other side of your chamber. But she's not looking that well, I tried to give her some medicine to keep her state from getting any worse." ChengYu answers. Once Donghua hears that she's not looking well he quickly gets up and runs to where she is then embracing her in his arms against his chest.

When ChenYu saw what Donghua Dijun was doing she was very shocked. For the last three year she had never seen Dijun, this worried about Fengjiu at all. She and Siming often try to gossip about Fengjiu around Donghua so they could try to help the two love birds. But as Donghua normally does, he gives an uncaring face attitude.

ChengYu once told Siming that Fengjiu's dad had set up a dozen suitors gathering for her, in front of Donghua. He just ignored it and walked back into his private bed chamber. He knows that none of them were the destined one for his baby fox. Even though he was curious to how she would handle the situation, he only took out his bronze mirror to see it. No matter how worried or how much he wants to see her, he will never go to her unless she's in great danger.

At this moment the others, LianSong, Siming and Zhonglin, walk into the chamber. All three of them bows and greets "Dijun!" but he did not even acknowledge them at all, he just kept his eyes, focusing only on Fengjiu.

"Dijun was it true that we were?" LianSong asks and Dijun just nods. "But how did we?" Siming asks. But there was no answer from Dijun. ChengYu just stands there, looking more and more confused, listening to their broken conversations.

"ChengYu, how long were we passed out?" Donghua asks. "I came ten days ago and everyone was missing and only a few hours ago that I found you all passed out. I didn't want this news to spread out of the palace so I use your name, Dijun, that you have ordered to close down the TaiChen Palace under further notice. " ChengYu replies back.

"ChengYu, you did well. But now I need you all to forget about what had happened in the last couple of days. If this gets out, there will be endless harm to her and she is very weak right now. If you need help in forgetting what is needed to be forgotten then drink the forgetful potion." he says emotionlessly.

"Yes, Dijun!" they all replied. "ChengYu have you seen a box and a scroll that was in this room when you found us?" he asks. "Yes, Dijun." she replies and walks over to the desk to grab the two items. She hands it over to Dijun and in a blink of an eye, the two items in his hand burn to ash and vanish out of their sight.

"Miao Luo, you will pay for what you have caused to Xiaobai million times more! No one will get away with hurting my Xiaobai! No one!" he breathes below his breath.
