In a faraway land, in the capital city, what was supposed to be a calm and normal night has turned into a stormy night. Only the sound of thunder crashing could be heard throughout the late night. In the royal palace, a woman cries in pain, while all the maids scatter around getting everything they need to help with the current situation at hand. An elderly lady keeps yelling out "PUSH!" as she competes with the loud crashing thunder. The woman in bed bites down on a towel that was folded in between her mouth while her hands are clenching down to each side of her firm silk pillow drenched in sweat and tears.

The excruciating pain made her tears escape the corners of her eyes. "I don't want this child! Why must I suffer this kind of pain? My love, my dear, if you are watching over me, right now, let this bastard be a stillborn! I DON'T WANT ANYONE'S CHILD BUT YOURS!" she prays to her late husband. She keeps fighting this pain as she tries to pull on the two maids by her side to help herself sitting up a slight bit. But her efforts were to no avail as she fell back down to the bed due to another sudden shock of pain.

"Madam, please push harder! If not, the child will die! And you might be in danger as well!" the old lady cries out. "I cannot die! If I die, she will have nobody left to care for her. He will hurt her! I need to be alive for her! I need to avenge his death! I cannot DIE!" she screams in her mind. The woman takes a deep breath and holds her breath then pushes with all her might. Not long after a baby cries fills the room, competing with the crashing thunder.

"It's born! It's a girl! Madam it is a healthy baby girl." the old lady cries out while bringing the newborn close to the woman. The woman didn't even take a look at the baby girl, she just waved her hand, signaling them to take her away. The old lady takes the baby girl out to the outer room where a man was non-stop pacing back and forth. "Congratulations my Lord. It's a girl!" the old lady happily greets while passing over the baby to his arms. The man happily grins and plays with the crying girl in his arms.

"She looks just like her! All are rewarded for your hard work tonight." he happily hollers. All the maids and servants kneel on the ground and thank him for the rewards. "Thank you my Lord!" everyone exclaims. He walks into the bed chamber and sees his lovely wife drenched in sweat and blood. He sits on the edge of the bed holding the baby girl to show her. My dear, she is beautiful like you." he praises her. She closes her eyes in annoyance and tiredness.

"My Lord, I am very tired right now, please excuse me for neglecting your attention." she weakly says. "It's okay my dear. Rest up now. I will come to see you later when you're feeling better." he sweetly says while walking out with the baby girl in his arms. He hands the baby girl to the old lady to care for while his wife rests for recovery.

"Damn this bastard child! Why can't you just die? You don't deserve to live or to be born!" she curses the newborn within her heart. She opens her eyes and searches the chamber. "Weiying, bring her to my side. She must be scared and worried about me by now." the woman weakly commands her headmaid. "Yes Madam, I will bring her over at once." the maid replies before heading out.

Not long after, Weiying brings a little girl into the woman's room. The little girl rushes to the woman's side. "Mother!" she cries out while hugging her tightly. "My sweetheart. There's nothing to be afraid of." the woman sweetly says to the little girl. "Mother, where is my baby sibling? Is it a sister or a brother?" she curiously asks.

"YOU DON'T HAVE ANY SIBLINGS!" the woman angrily screams out, scaring the little girl. She shakes in fear from the sudden outburst from her dear mother. She never had experienced this kind of treatment from her dear mother before. "I'm sorry my sweetheart, I didn't mean to scare you. You must remember, he is not your father. But you must treat him as your father on the outside. You don't have any real siblings. They are all your fake siblings." the woman sweetly says to the little girl while hugging her tightly and then lightly stroking the back of her head.
