XEN'S POV

As I drive closer to her house, my heart ponders heavily against my chest. Is something wrong happened to her?

Does Iowa really cheating on me?

But I noticed that something isn't right when she suddenly out balanced. Then I noticed those blood stains on her face, even on her arms.

As I get off my car I can see her talking to RJ but suddenly, she collapsed. I run as fast as I can as I call her. Shit, what's happening?

We rushed her inside her house. Even the taxi driver helps us to carry her. I gave him five thousand as a fare and gratitude but he refused. He just charges me 300 as their fare.

"RJ bilis. Maglagay ka ng tubig sa kahit na anong pwede mong paglagyan saka lagyan mo ng kaonting alcohol." the man instructed RJ.

"Opo kuya Mikee,"  he replied as he rushes to the kitchen.

"What happened to her?" I asked that man named Mikee.

"I don't know. She didn't tell us," he replied as he examines Iowa's body.

My eyes widened as I see him trying to pull out the syringe that is halfway pierced into Iowa's right thigh.

"We should rush her to the hospital," I exclaimed, trying to stop him from what he is doing. I don't really trust him with this. Iowa needs a doctor, not him.

"No. We didn't want to," Mikee objected.

"Kuya Mikee, heto na po," RJ shouted from our back, rushing to us with the towel and basin of water.

"Thank you RJ," he said and he began to cleanse the stingers that clutched into Iowa's arm and face. Thankfully, he didn't continue to pull out that syringe.

"But why? She needs proper treatment. She is in serious condition! I am her boyf... I am her husband and I want to bring her to the hospital." I enforced. Maybe he is a nurse but I couldn't entrust Iowa's life on his hand.

"You're her husband but I'm a nurse. I know what to do and I knew that even Iowa doesn't want to go back to the hospital," his stubbornness prevailed.
