21: XEN'S SISTER

XEN'S POV

"So tell me who's my sister. Where is she?" tiim-bagang na tanong ko kay Juvelle.

Instead of answering my question, he throws his eyes in every corner of the bar while leaning on the bar counter and playing with his tequila on his right hand.

He smirked. "Unfortunately, she's not here yet."

Frown. "Can you just tell me?  I don't fucking care if she's not here. All I want is to know who is she." I replied as I tighten my grip to my glass.

"Patience Xen. You don't need to rush things or else, it will shock you. Are you even ready to know her? To face her?"

"Of cour..."

"Can I talk to you, Xen?" singit ng isang boses.

Agad akong napabaling sa pinanggagalingan noon. But unlike my shocked expression, I saw those eyes of Juvelle amusingly looking at Iowa with a sugared smile on his face. He even stare at her from head to toe while playing his drink in his glass.

"You're here!" he exclaimed then gulped his drink. "Of course you can talk to him." he added. Still with those expression. "It's nice to have a drink with you, Xen." He said as he tap my shoulder then he look to Iowa and walk away. What's with him? I thought he's gonna tell me my.....what the fuck! Did he just tell me?

"What was that? Are you friends?" Iowa asked but I just stare at her. I don't wanna think about it but the way that Juvelle looked at her implies an answer. Is she my sister? Why does it have to be her?

Frown. "Xen?" she waves her hand in front of my face. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah! Yes! I'm just... I'm just shocked seeing you here." 

"Okay?" she answered with a doubtful look. "So, you two are friends?" 

Grimaced. "No. Definitely not." then I gulp my drink.

"Really? But it seems that you have a very serious conversation." Iowa answered as I roam my eyes inside the bar only to find Juvelle with a random girl, busy chatting with each other. 

I am about to withdraw my eyes on them when he suddenly looked at me as if he knew that I am watching them. He raised his brows and his drink. But what made me stunned was that girl. She looked at me and offered a toss.

"What the hell is that bitch doing in here. Isn't she supposed to be in the cell?" baling ko kay Iowa na nakatingin na rin pala kina Juvelle at Lexi.

"That's what I wanna discuss with you. Cigar told me to meet you to clarify something regarding to the evidence that you presented to him." she replied with a blank face while still looking at those rats.
