An Emergency and A Recruit

"Doctor Hwang, we have an emergency" one of the nurses said in a hushed tone not wanting to alert or trigger any other patients around the two.

"What happened?" Hyunjin questioned knowing that the nurses never came to him unless something seriously bad happened or something has triggered a patient. This worried Hyunjin a bit as he had a few patients that were flight risks and he was worried one of those patients had done something.

"Seokjin and Jungkook were fighting in the corridor" the nurse whispers and looks at Hyunjin, who then in turn rolls his eyes as it was a regular occurrence between the two males. They were always fighting for who knows what reason, usually over something small.

"Did they hurt each other badly? or..." He said a bit of sarcasm dripped from his tone, although he was quite concerned as the last time this was bought to his attention was when they first started fighting. since then the nurses and security staff were able to control it and separate them. The way the nurse started fidgeting around with the badge pinned to her shirt was a clear indicator to Hyunjin that something had happened and the staff couldn't fully control the situation.

"That's not the problem, they are okay, but they were screaming..." she said almost timidly and Hyunjin began to get nervous and was about to start running before the nurse had finished talking. But of course him being the professional he was he had gestured for her to finish talking which is what she did, "and it was outside the room 707" she finished and that was when Hyunjin had figured out the problem

"Isn't room 707 where..." Hyunjin started off timidly, secretly hoping that what he was predicting wasn't true and that it wouldn't be what he was fearing. But of course working in a mental health facility you always have to fear the worst until proven otherwise.

"Yes, Doc. Hwang it is exactly what you are thinking." The nurse clarifies and this makes Hyunjin open his eyes as wide as possible and starting to pick up the pace as he walked away from where the nurse was still frozen standing. At this point some patients have started to wonder what was happening and why a nurse was talking to Hyunjin but of course no one knew the reason behind the conversation.

"We need to go... now! Bring Doc. Lee with you, hurry!" Hyunjin said over his shoulder to another nurse as he ran towards the west wing where room 707 was located. Hyunjin ran as fast as he could as he knows the patients in that ward very well and one was sure to be triggered.

"Immediately" He calls over his shoulder once more before taking off as fast as he could before any more damage could be done. Not long after he gets to the site and breaks up the fight between Jungkook and Seokjin.

"Put them in their rooms and make sure that Yoong- I mean Doc. Min scolds them for causing a disturbance. especially Jungkook because he probably started it. I will talk to him later on." With that he watched as the two males were taken back to their rooms he mentioned one more thing to the nurse to notify Doc. Min about and she responded with a meek 'Alright' before disappearing and doing as she was asked.

"I hope he is okay..." Hyunjin said as he stood outside room 707 and firmly gripped the door knob. Before even opening the door he could hear crying from one male inside and the other screaming for help. Hyunjin looked around and saw that the rooms next door and across the hallway all had heads poking out to see what was happening even a very unsuspecting face was concerned about what was happening.

Hyunjin slowly walked in trying not to scare the male currently seated in the corner terrified to look up. Hyunjin felt his heart swell, this is a situation he wanted to avoid. He wanted the patients here to feel safe not to feel like they had to constantly hide and live in fear. 

Once Hyunjin was fully in the room he whispered to Jinyoung to slowly and quietly leave the room to which the male nodded before quietly making his exit.

"Jaebeom, are you oka-" Hyunjin tried to say in a very soft and delicate tone in order to no longer scare the crying male. This didn't exactly work as Hyunjin wanted as it only scared Jaebeom more.

"Please, I beg you, don't hit me... I won't do it again..." He kept muttering. Hyunjin heard a soft knock at the door before it opened slightly to reveal Felix who then had slid himself in the room in order to try and help Hyunjin calm Jaebeom down. Felix slowly but quietly moved next to Jaebeom.  

Jaebeom was trembling, hugging himself while tears were rolling out his eyes, he was scared to death, the memories of his abusive parents running circles in his head. He was traumatizing himself by panicking. Jaebeom had felt someone's presence next to him and tucked himself tighter into a ball to avoid the pain of the contact.

Before Jaebeom had been able to say anything further he had heard a soft hum, a calming hum. This was followed by a soft but velvety voice singing. Jaebeom focused on the voice something that he didn't know would soothe him. Very soon Jaebeom had calmed down, regulated his breathing and was now softly snoring, still in his tucked position.

Hyunjin and Felix were astonished. They had been trying for about forty minutes to calm him down and all of a sudden a voice comes out of nowhere and by the end of the song the person had been singing Jaebeom was asleep. Hyunjin and Felix had both worked together to tuck Jaebeom in bed before turning to find the owner of the voice.

"Ho-How did you know that would work." Felix asked completely puzzled by the male standing in the doorway with five other males standing a distance away watching in amusement.

"And how did we not know you had an amazing voice?" Hyunjin asks astounded by what he had just heard. He had thought about what to do in regards to the owner of the voice and quickly made up his mind. Of course hoping it was the right decision.

"How would you like to Join the music program? There is only one other person in it as we are still trying to find people to be in the group but we are hoping for six more people to join, five more if you join right now." Hyunjin says and the male looks at him confused...

"Jinyoung please, Your voice is amazing. Please consider it" Hyunjin says in hopes it would influence the males decision. Hyunjin thought this would be both beneficial to Jinyoung and Mark. Music can tech Jinyoung how to feel and Jinyoung being in the music room can give that humanly presence to Mark in hopes Mark would gain another friend.
