After hearing Jaebeom's story, Jinyoung didnt know what was happening to him, he felt weird, the foreign feeling gathering in his chest. The pain wasn't an external source of pain, it was all an internal source of pain
'what the heck? Am I sick? This isn't normal.' Jinyoung thought to himself as he firmly gripped the fabric above his heart, clenching his fist in to the shirt as if it would relieve the pain he felt in his chest. This action worrying Jaebeom as the younger's face contorted as if he was in so much pain.
His eyes also felt weird, it was like when his parents died, water falling from his eyes sliding down his cheek ever so slowly. He remember his grandma saying they were called 'Tears'. The water he felt in his eyes that were blurring his version were tears?
Then suddenly, a 'tear' slipped from his eye, sliding down his cheek and then past his mouth down to his chin where it dropped on to his hand. He inspected his hand looking at the "foreign" liquid and then looked up at Jaebeom
"Are you... cr-crying?" Jaebeom questioned thinking that Jinyoung couldn't feel anything but of course something was happening with Jinyoung and it made both males hesitant.
Im crying? Jinyoung questioned himself in disbelief....
"What is this... why does my chest feel weird? What is happening to me Jaebeom?"
"What is this!? Jaebeom what is wrong with me? What did you do? Jaebeom call the nurse" Jinyoung said slightly overreacting, but Jaebeom did what was asked and rang the nurses station bell. Two nurses came in and looked at Jinyoung in disbelief
Jinyoung didnt understand what was happening, was he feeling? why did it affect him so much?
Jinyoung and Jaebeom were left by the nurses but was soon joined by Dr. Hwang. "So what happened before this "Pain" Started?" He questioned the males in front of them. Both sitting on Jinyoung's bed as the doctor was seated on Jaebeom's bed.
"I told him the reason behind why I was here and then this started.... If I knew it were going to hurt him I wouldn't have said anything. Please don't hurt me" Jaebeom says and covers his face with his hands.
Jinyoung began crying again and Dr. Hwang kind of put two and two together and figured out the problem.
"Jinyoung this is a good sign. This means that there is a chance for you to learn emotions and feelings and cure your Alexithymia. At the moment Jinyoung you are feeling sympathetic for Jaebeom because of his struggles. You feel sorry that he had to go through it." The doctor said
"Sym-sympathy?" Jinyoung questioned through the sobs that left his mouth. He remembers studying the word
'Sympathy; feelings of pity and sorrow for someone else's misfortune.'
This made Jinyoung question a lot but ultimately made him want to say sorry. Sorry that he had to go through it all alone. He turned to the other and wrapped him in his arms. Jinyoung had no idea what his body was doing but went with it as it felt right.
Jaebeom wrapped his arms around Jinyoung and sat there rubbing soothing circles in to Jinyoung's back. "Jae-jaebeom, I don't know what is happening to me but I want you to teach me more emotions and feelings. Will you be my guide, my teacher and maybe..... My friend?" Jinyoung said hoping the younger would say yes. To his pleasure the younger in fact did say yes and decided to start as soon as possible but hoping to get more people to help teach the younger everything.
