«Writing a song»

Youngjae hated hearing those words in a sentence, and at the same time, he hated himself for hating it.

If someone had told him to do it some years ago, he would have done it happily, but it was all different in that moment, all thanks to his past self.

Some years ago 

Youngjae was in high school when he fell in love with Brian Kang. He was kind and caring with him, but also with everyone else. He was basically the man who every single human in earth would love, and of course that he wasn't an exception. Unlike Youngjae, Brian was a popular student and whatever he said was taken as a law in that school; a lot of women had confess their love towards him, but he has always refuse them kindly, making a lot of rumors of him being gay take action.

Youngjae never trusted the rumors, but he thought that maybe he could give it a chance, maybe he would finally be able to find someone who actually loves him for being who he is and not to pretend to love him because of surface reasons.

A week before Valentine's Day, he decided to confess his love towards him and Brian said that he loved him back. Youngjae almost cried because of the happiness he felt at the moment, even though Brian ask him to keep it a secret, Youngjae felt that he would be happy for the first time, how wrong he was.

During Valentine's Day, his high school had an event in which students had the opportunity to sing and all that kind of stuff; that excited Youngjae as he decided to participate with a song he wrote for Brian, expressing how much he loved him and how happy he felt by being by his side.

Valentine's Day arrived and so the event. A lot of participants pass and it was finally Youngjae's turn. He sang for Brian with all his heart, during he the whole presentation he looked at Brian, trying to explain to him that the song was for him. When the song ended, Brian walk towards the stage and took the microphone, then he faced the audience as he said.

"Did you paid attention to all those... cheesy words? Of course that the song if for someone right?"

Being blind by his love, Youngjae didn't realize that Brian was about to make fun of him, to humiliate him in front of everyone, instead he thought that he was going to said to everyone how much they loved each other.

"Well, let me tell you the secret. All those words and feeling are for me, Youngjae loves me... Can you belive it? Our top student is nothing but a f*cking homosexual, a shame for our society, for our school! He..."

Youngjae stopped listening, that couldn't be right, just a week ago he told him that he loved him back, he even promise that if someone bother him, he would protect him! Then why? Why was he doing that?

«What's the point of falling in love if everything is sufferment and pain? I'm tired, tired of being hurt by others...»

After that day, every single student in the school make sure to make Youngjae's life hard as hell, and that's when he changed. At the end of the school year, he moved to another school and promise himself to not to fall in love again, he decided that he shouldn't talk to anyone, just to make sure he didn't form any kind of relationship, because he didn't want to be hurt again...
