Promise

"Can we make a promise?" Yugyeom asked through his sobbing. He tried calling his breath as much as possible, only successfully doing so after taking multiple deep breaths.

"What kind of promise do you have in mind yugy?" Bambam asks unsure of what the promise would be and how far he would have to go to keep up his end of the promise.

"If I stop cu- cut- drawing on my wrists... you have to start eating well... or at least a decent amount from now on" Yugyeom said looking up with a pleading look in his eyes, He really hoped Bambam would take him up on the promise in hopes to help them both.

Bambam was shocked to say the least, he didn't expect that to be the promise. He was scared, scared people would call him fat and ugly but he decided to agree anyways, he didn't know why he just felt like it was the right thing to do. He felt as if he were obligated to help the other and honestly he didn't disagree with the feeling but he wasn't sure if he could keep up his side of the promise but he was willing to try in order to help Yugyeom.

"Sure...but you have to promise too okay?"

"I Promise" Yugyeom had responded with his whole heart. The younger hoped it would work and that he would actually get Bambam back to being healthy and hopefully help him self to stop his urges.

With that promise being set, a beautiful friendship began to grow and maybe something else. But who knows what might happen?

-----------------------

On the other side of the door Dc. Hwang stood proudly. He may or may not have accidentally heard what Bambam and Yugyeom had just promised. Times like this make him feel as if his decisions in roommates had actually made a difference and that they would actually get along and help each other. Of course he had some roommates that never worked together, but that was all part of trial and error

To say he was relieved was an underestimated guess, Yugyeom worried him a lot to the point where Dc. Hwang thought Yugyeom may try and commit suicide under his care. The poor boy was suffering a lot and he was only young, he has a whole life to live instead of just throwing his life away which makes him an unstable and a difficult case to handle. But maybe, just maybe, Bambam was the therapy Yugyeom so desperately needed.

Hwang was also happy about Youngjae and his progress. Usually Youngjae hated when he had to be with him, not because Hyunjin was mean or something like that, it was because he didn't like interacting with anybody. The last time they met however, Youngjae seemed to be a lot happier and excited to interact with Hyunjin. He told him how he would interact with Jackson until they both basically fell asleep, overcoming his fear one step at a time. That made Hyunjin feel proud and happy, but unfortunately not everything was as good as it seems.

On the other hand Jinyoung and Jaebeom were a difficult pairing. Jaebeom was afraid of anyone touching him even if they were walking through the corridors and someones hand accidentally brushed against his, there was absolutely no progress. Jinyoung was as difficult as his roommate, since he had started feeling sympathetic nothing has changed, or at least that's what Hyunjin believed.

With Mark and Jackson Hyunjin struggled a bit more. Mark was progressing in his treatment, slowly but surely progressing. Mark still hasn't interacted with anyone outside his very tight circle which included his father and Hyunjin, Mark kept on insisting that he was ready to start interacting with other people.... It was just a matter of finding someone who could help him if he did start to panic and go into shock.

Jackson however, was struggling, although he was talking and interacting with Youngjae he wasn't progressing at all. In fact his condition worsening. He needed to take his medication, but he would often skip his medication causing him to lash out at nurses, Hyunjin and even his own roommate. Hyunjin had often thought about increasing his dosage but he was trying to get Jackson off of medication. After consulting Doctor. Lee Hoseok who happened to be in the area and was one of the best psychiatric doctors around. After consulting with Dc. Lee, Hyunjin had eventually increased Jackson's dosage.

What Doc. Lee told him was that he needed to be patient with all of his patients especially those like Mark and Jackson. They both suffered sudden changes and now they needed to wait for the consequences of it. From his own experience as a psychiatric doctor he knew it would help him to feel better, but if there wasn't a change, the best option was to unfortunately change the medication and dosages.

Hyunjin trusted Hoseok, but still he wasn't sure that this technique would work on his patients. He was willing to try it, but the minute he saw negative effects he would go back to what he was originally doing. He decided to go and see Jackson in his room and talk with him just a little bit.

He looked through the window that the door had and he saw Jackson smiling while talking with Youngjae. Since Jackson had arrived, he had never smiled, not even once, nor did he smile on his own birthday which Hyunjin had made mandatory throughout his years in the industry. And now that he had seen Jackson smile he realized that Hoseok was right, all he needed to do was be patient and everything would find it's own course.
