Maaga akong dumating sa bahay, not my usual routine.

"I'm home!"

Artista talaga.

"Intrams namin, remember?" I hugged her.

"So, how's your day? May pogi ka na naman bang nabiktima?"

Sabay ngisi niya sa akin. Bumitaw ako sa yakap niya at dumiretso sa sofa at umupo. Shit, kapagod.

"Mayroon naman, Mom. Halika rito. May kwento ako sa'yo." I pat the space beside me, motioning her to take a sit.

"Hmm?" When she already beside me. I changed my position.

"Kasi kanina, there's a guy, Mommy. He's tall, lean, and his aura, it's a bit dangerous.. you know? Gwapo niya, Mom."

I smiled to her. Close kami ni Mommy, she's my bestfriend and my everything. May kuya ako but he's not with us. Sinama siya ni Daddy sa Beijing. Hindi na nagsasama pa ang parents ko but they are in good terms.

"And what about him?"

"He doesn't like me." I laughed after that.

"Mukhang may makakatapat ka na, ah? Bakit daw ayaw niya sa'yo?" There's a ghost of smile in her lips.

"Hindi ko rin alam. I'm just cheering him during his play.

She loves my father so much that she choose to let Dad go and let him choose another woman over her. They're married but still Dad cheated on her.. Dad cheated on my Mom's bestfriend.. she was betrayed by her beloved husband and trusted bestfriend.

I guess married relationship doesn't always flow by love alone. It's also about how committed you are to your chosen partner. Promises meant to be broken and love, love is like a sand, big or small it is, no matter how big your love to the person is, when the sand blown by the wind.. it's slowly went gone. Love faded.

"No, Mom. I won't be like you."

When I turned to her, guilt crept on me. That was an insensitive act of me!

"No, sweetie." She forced a smile. "You're right. Huwag mo akong gayahin. Choose someone who will stay to you no matter what. Someone who will truely love you. Someone that will repeatedly choose you. Someone who will fight for you. Your battle is also his battle.
