Chapter 19

"Everything is still complicated to get marry, Jave." I looked up at him. 

He hugged me tighter and I feel him playing with my hair. I am also on his hairy chest.

"I can't wait to marry you... besides, our situations can't stop me."

"You know what, sabi ko noon hindi kita titigilan hangga't 'di sa simbahan ang ating dulo," I chuckled as I remembered what I've said to Shan years ago.

"Really? Bakit parang iba naman ang sinabi ni Shan?"

"Luh? Iyon naman talaga sinabi ko, e," phagpipilit ko. "Bakit? Ano pa ba ang sinabi niya?"

"Hindi mo raw ako titigilan kakahabol nang hindi kama ang bagsak nating dalawa," he laughed out of his lungs.

"Well, tama at hindi ko itatanggi 'yan. Gusto lang naman kita noon dahil maliban sa basketball player at gwapo ka ay daks ka rin. Sa tuwing titigan nga kita noon para kang saging sa aking paningin."

"So, minahal mo ako dahil daks ako?"

"Yes."

"What the f-'

"Kadyot," putol ko sa pagmumura niya.

Mabilis siyang pumaibabaw sa akin at kinulong ako ng magkabilang braso niya. He is looking at me dangerously. I gulped in nervous.

"W-what are you going to do?" utal kong tanong.

"Kadyot huh?" He smirked, still didn't remove his eyes on me.

"Tagalog no'n. Umalis ka na riyan sa ibabaw ko."

"Kahit kailan ang ingay at ang bastos ng bunganga mo," anas niya at umalis sa ibabaw ko para tumayo.

"Saan ka pupunta?"

"Maliligo. Tinaboy mo na ako."

"Hindi mo ko pipilitin?" I pouted.

"Kung pipilitin kita e 'di rape 'yon. Tsss. Try mo mag-isip minsan nakakaganda siya. Huwag puro saging ko ang inaatupag mo," tumatawang sinabi niya at tumakbo na papuntang Cr. Hayp na 'yon!

If we get married would the things will stay the same?
Are we really into this? Are we ready to be tied to each other?
Would our love to each other will be enough to conquer the world's cruelty?
Are we... bound for each other?

Is the chase for the ring will be finally done?

Chasing ring is my game and my finish line is him.

"Yrikka," JB answered his phone. He is looking at me with apology in his eyes. I just nodded and offered him a small smile saying it is okay with me.

Binaling ko sa labas ng bintana ang atensyon. My heart skipped at the thought of... Yrikka is still important to him. Kahit iba naman talaga ang halaga ng importansyang iyon.

"Hindi ka ba makakapunta mag-isa sa party na 'yan? I'm busy."

My brows furrowed. Party? She's asking JB to join her? How clingy... it's cringe for her. I secretly rolled my eyes. 

"Okay, okay I'll be there. Don't fucking cut your wrist!" I heard him groaned in frustration. "Stay there. I'm on my way there," aligagang saad niya sa katawagan bago pinatay ang telepono. 

"Babe..." he stopped the car on the side road.

"Okay lang. I understand." Tumingin ako sa kanya at agad ding binalik ang paningin sa labas para ibaling ang atensyon sa mga sasakyang dumadaan.

Naging mabilis ang byahe namin. He dropped me off at our place. Hindi na rin siya bumaba pa para pumasok. He seems in a hurry.

Nang makapasok ako sa kwarto, agad akong naligo at dumapa sa kama. I opened my social media account and saw Bryce, Cezar, and Renz pass the board exam. I'm sure their girlfriends were so proud of them.
