(Jisung’s POV)
“Good-fucking-morning!” I greeted them as I entered the studio.
But as soon as I got closer to Changbin, he flicked my forehead. “Hey! That hurt.” I winced, glaring at him.
“You curse too much.” He responded blankly before sitting back down.
I scoffed at him and set my coffee down. “That’s a lot coming from you.”
He shrugged and gave me a smirk.
“Jisung,” Chan called, interrupting our bickering.
“Yeah?”
“What’s up with you last night?” He looked at me suspiciously.
Changbin hummed in agreement, “Yeah, you were really weird. What pissed you off?”
I laughed nervously, “You know…” I trailed off, trying to come up with the best excuse. “I drank a bit.”
They blinked at me wordlessly. “How?” They asked at the same time.
“When you weren’t looking?”
That response earned me yet another flick on the forehead. “Stop that!” I yelped in pain.
“See. This is why we can’t allow you to drink. You do stupid things and shit.” Changbin chastised as he waved a finger at me. Chan shook his head and turned back to the computer.
“Whatever.” I mumbled, shoving him away from me.
They bought my pathetic excuse. At least I got them off my back for now.
That guy. Hyunjin. He was getting on my nerves. Who was he anyway? Y/N’s boyfriend? It didn’t look like he was to me.
“By the way, is the contract signing finished?” I asked before sipping on my coffee.
Changbin looked down on his watch and nodded. “They are probably done. They started 2 hours ago. It couldn’t have taken that long.”
I nodded and sighed.
Is Y/N free for today? I wonder if she’s still here.
“Do you think Y/N is around?” I asked out of the blue.
“Why?” Changbin asked in return, narrowing his eyes at me.
I shrugged. I couldn’t really tell them I just wanted to see her. They’d just suspect me of liking her. “I just want to apologize to her. For what I did yesterday.”
“She’s not the one you should be apologizing to.” Chan stated, eyes still glued on the screen.
Ah, he was referring to that jerk. As if I'd apologize to him. He can eat my foot.
“Still. I just want to apologize.”
They didn’t say anything else, so I just stood up and walked towards the door. “I’m just gonna walk around.”
“Han Jisung,”
I froze at the doorway, waiting for Chan to continue talking.
“You should watch it.”
I laughed and looked back to him. “What are you talking about?”
“Just be careful. Y/N is still a trainee. You can’t go running around with a trainee.” He finished with a cold look.
I blinked at him. “Yeah, of course. I know that.”
(Y/N’s POV)
The contract signing was finished.
I’m finally a trainee!
“Yes!” I cheered, doing a happy dance.
“Now that’s a dance move I wanna learn.”
I froze on my spot and slowly turned around to see who it was.
It was a dude who looked like the same age as me. He was smirking, arms crossed against his chest.
“Oh,” I mumbled, stretching my limbs exaggeratedly. “I was just warming up.”
He snickered as he inched closer towards me. I took a step back on instinct. “What?” I blurted.
“Nothing. I’m Minho, by the way.”
He was suddenly introducing himself? What’s up with him? Was he a weirdo?
“I’m Y/N. Are you a trainee here?”
“Sort of?”
“Huh?”
“I’ll see you around.” He smiled as he gave me a pat on the shoulder and walked off.
I followed him with my eyes as he vanished along the corner of the hallway.
I shook my head and started walking the other way too. I don’t have anything on my schedule right now since Miss Yoona told us to rest today. Tomorrow we’ll start with dance training. A rest sounds great now.
“Y/N!” I was so startled, I jumped on my tracks.
I turned to see Jisung running towards my direction.
“Oh, Jisung.” I smiled at him. “You kinda startled me back there.” I laughed.
“Sorry about that. I just got a bit excited.”
“Excited for what?”
“Uh, wanna grab some coffee with me?”
I nodded, “We should go to the café I work at.”
His eyes widened at me. “You work at a café?”
“Yup! Soyeon’s mom owns the café. We work there as a part-time job.”
“Does that mean I can get a free drink?” He suggested, wiggling his eyebrows.
I laughed at his cheekiness. “We’ll see.”
