(Y/N’s POV)
I felt like dying.
“Gosh, you’re too dramatic.” Soyeon stated as another pained groan escaped my lips.
“It really hurts, okay? I don’t think I’ll be able to dance properly later.” I sighed as I massaged my shoulder.
I hate dancing. If I didn’t want to be an idol so bad, I would’ve given up already.
“Here,” Soyeon placed the packed cheesecake and 4 iced americanos in front of me. “Do you want me to drive you there?”
“It’s fine. It’s just around the corner. I can walk from here.” I took the bags and headed out. “I’ll see you later.”
“Don’t get into trouble and do your best!”
I chuckled as I walked away from the shop.
I honestly don’t want to go to training today, but Minho will probably have my head if I won’t show up. I took a deep breath and walked faster. The sooner I got there, the sooner this day will be over.
I was near the agency when I saw Jisung standing outside.
“Jisung,” He immediately turned to me when he heard my voice. He ran with a big smile. Ah, this guy. I think I’m going to fall for his smile.
Jesus Christ, Y/N. You’re not in the position to fall in love. You’re a trainee!
“Wah, cheesecake!” He exclaimed excitedly as he reached out for the food I was carrying. I gave it him with a small pout.
“Seems like you like cheesecake more than me.”
What. The. Fuck. Did I just say.
My eyes widened at my own words. I must be crazy. I probably forgot to bring my brain with me.
“I-I mean…” I stammered, looking for other things to say. “I mean you seem excited to eat cheesecake.” I laughed nervously, trying to brush off whatever I said before.
“I am excited to eat this cheesecake,” he smiled, "but I’m even more excited to see the person who brought it.”
My cheeks flared up in heat. How could he say that with a smile? I can’t. My inner fangirl is breaking out. I have to get it together.
He started walking towards the building and I only stayed rooted on my spot, trying to calm myself.
“Aren’t you coming? You’re going to be late for your session.”
“Right!” I responded, hastily following him.
I am beyond embarrassed. Lord, just take me.
(Chan’s POV)
I was already frustrated and restless, but Hyeri just had to make my day even more terrible than it already is. And it’s only 8 AM. Fucking hell.
“Look, I can’t talk to you right now.” I sighed as she stepped inside the studio. “Correction, you never want to talk to me.” She said, sitting down on my chair.
I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me. “What do you want?”
She smiled, “Your songs. I want to sing them.”
“You’re still on that? I told you, I’ll never let you sing them. Even if I’m on the verge of losing my career, you’ll never get to sing my songs.”
She simply shrugged and turned the chair repeatedly, as if playing with it.
“Get up, that’s not a toy.”
“Make me.” She challenged with a smirk.
This woman, I swear to God.
I walked towards her to pull her up but she pulled me down by the collar.
I met her eyes. Those alluring brown eyes that deceived me. We were too close, I could feel her hot breath against my lips.
“What are you doing?” I demanded but it came out weakly.
“I missed you.” She muttered, her eyes trailing over to my lips.
It’s been years since I last kissed her. I’ve almost forgotten how it felt to kiss her. Maybe… If I could just…
Her lips were inches away from mine when the door slammed open.
“So that’s how I got locked in the bath-“
I turned around to see Jisung and Y/N frozen on the doorway.
I quickly moved away from Hyeri and cleared my throat. “Uh, it’s-“
“Sorry!” Y/N exclaimed as she hurriedly closed the door.
“No, wait!” I groaned as she slammed it shut. “Get out, now.” I growled at Hyeri who only had an innocent smile on her face.
This bitch.
“Jeez, you don’t have to be mad.” She stood up and headed for the door. “I’ll see you around.” She winked then left.
I let out a shaky breath and sat on the sofa. Did I really just think about kissing her back there?
“Chan, you fucking retard.” I said to myself, running my hand through my hair.
