[Y/N's POV]
My eyes widened at Chan's words.
Dating? Since when were we dating?
Jisung didn't say another word and stormed out of the studio. Chan sighed and shook his head.
"What did you just say?" I whispered.
"Y/N, I—"
"Save it for later. I have to talk to Jisung first." I deadpanned and left the room.
I catched up with Jisung who was already walking out of the building. "Jisung!" I called out as I ran to him.
"Why?" He spoke as soon as I reached him.
"Why what?" That was a pathetic question.
"Why him? Why does it have to be Chan? Out of all the guys, it had to be my bestfriend."
"Jisung, it's not—"
"I can be like him." He sniffed, tears threatening to spill out of his eyes. "Just tell me what you see in him that you don't see in me."
My heart broke at his words. "It's not that, okay? You're perfect just the way you are. You don't have to be like him."
"Then why would you date him? I liked you first and it's not fair. I was scared to let you know because I know they'd go against it. Then you guys are suddenly dating? Bullshit!" He exclaimed, making me flinch.
"We're not dating, okay? I don't know why he said that." I explained, trying to calm him down.
"So will you go out with me? Will you date me?"
"What?" My eyes widened at the questions he threw at me.
"Do you even see me as someone who's more that just a friend?"
I was lost for answers. Sure, Jisung was special to me. He made me feel warm whenever I'm with him. I felf safe with him. But I never thought of him as someone who'd be my boyfriend. He was like a brother to me.
I heard him scoff, making me snap out of my thoughts. "You can't even answer that without thinking twice."
I watched as he walked away from me. I didn't even bother calling out to him. He'll just shut me out again.
How did I even got myself into this mess?
[Chan's POV]
"Could you please leave us for a moment?" Y/N asked Changbin. He nodded, gave me another look then left.
As soon as he left, Y/N started to question me. "What is this about? Why did you say we're dating? If this is about you and Minh—"
"Not everything revolves around him!" I exclaimed, cutting her off.
"Then what is it?! Just fucking tell me what's going on!"
"Look," I sighed, rubbing my forehead. "I got carried away, okay? I can't just tell them I kissed you for the heck of it. I had to make an excuse."
She scoffed, crossing her arms against her chest. "So now I'm an excuse for your mistake? You're dragging me into your shit again."
"You don't understand, okay?"
"Then make me understand!" She shouted angrily, tears forming in the brim of her eyes. "I'm not just a toy that you can just mark me as yours. I'm a human being and I deserve to know what is going on. Because, honestly, I am about to lose my mind in this game of tug of war."
"You think this is a game?"
"You are making me feel like I'm being played, Chan! And I fucking hate how I just let you control me like this!"
At this point, she was already sobbing.
Fuck.
I reached out to comfort her but she slapped my hand away. "Don't fucking touch me." She hissed, wiping away her tears.
Without another word, she grabbed her things and left.
And being the asshole I am, I just let her leave.
[Minho's POV]
I've been staring at my reflection in the mirror for a while now.
I saw the articles. The pictures of Y/N and Chan kissing filled my mind and it made my blood boil. That bastard just can't keep his fucking hands to himself.
The door of the dance room opened, shaking me out of my thoughts. Hyeri stepped inside with that annoying smile on her face.
"Can you fucking knock?" I asked, irritatedly.
"I'm guessing you read the articles." She spoke, sitting down on the sofa.
I didn't respond and kept looking at my reflection.
She hummed before opening her mouth to talk again. "I have a plan."
"I don't want to hear it."
"You can have Y/N all to yourself."
I hate how fast my eyes darted towards her direction. She smiled, pleased that she got my attention. This bitch.
"It's simple, really. Just keep on making Y/N fall in love with you, like what you're doing now. I'll take care of Chan." I scoffed at her pathetic excuse of a plan.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Even a three year-old can make a better plan than you."
"I have something planned. I ain't telling you until it's time to do it. Just do as I say." She ordered, making me roll my eyes.
Who the fuck does she think she is?
"If you'll do exactly as I say, we can both have what we want. Isn't that great?"
Agreeing with her was probably the worst decision that I made in my entire life. But if it means I'd get to keep Y/N for myself, I don't see the reason not to follow.
