Mornings are Hard (Especially for Virgil)

The alarm started beeping for both Logan and Virgil get up. While Logan got out of bed no issue Virgil groaned loudly and shoved his pillow over his head.

"Virgil, love, you need to get up for the movers," Logan said while putting on his shirt.

"Nuuuuuuu," the other groaned, burrowing deeper under the covers.

"Virgil, come on. You're usually never like this on every other day," said Logan, kneeling next to Virgil's side of the bed.

"Today is cancelled," grumbled Virgil.

"Is it because of the baby?" Logan asked getting a groan that turned into mumbling as a response.

"You know it'll only get harder from here, right. The baby will just keep grown and that'll release hormones that cause mood swings, and cravings. Then the baby will start to kick, making sleep a bit hard to come by," he continued.

"Don't remind me. And that's all the more reason to let me sleep now since I'll be loosing so much in the coming months," Virgil said into the bed.

"Alright, come on. Time to get up," Logan said, grabbing Virgil's wrists and pulling him up.

"Nuuuuuu! Logan," the smaller man whined, his eyes barely able to stay open.

"The sooner you get active the sooner you'll wake up," reasoned Logan.

"Bullshit," grumbled Virgil, resting his forehead on Logan's chest.

Logan playfully rolled his eyes and sighed, turning around and lifting Virgil onto his back for a free ride down stairs. Virgil nuzzled his face into the Logan's right shoulder while loosely putting his arms around his neck. Logan walked them out of the bed room and down the stairs to the living room where Patton and Janus had already made breakfast (chocolate chip pancakes).

"Hey Logan! Hey Virgil! Is he okay?" Patton asked in between flipping the pancakes.

"He's fine, just tired," said Logan while setting his tired husband on the couch.

"Will he be good enough for work?" Janus asked from his spot leaning on the counter.

"I can hear you," Virgil half-heartedly mumbled.

"Unlikely. But it'll be fine since neither of us have work today and the movers only need one person to tell them about what needs to be put in the truck," said Logan while taking a plate of pancakes from Patton who happily handed him one.

"Oh yes, the movers are coming today. So by the time we get back from work you both will be moved out," said Janus, his double colored eyes getting a bit glossy. This was probably hard for Janus since he saw Virgil as a little brother (despite Virgil being older by almost two months) he needed to protect. He's been that way since he met Virgil when they were ten, the need to protect Virgil so strong they never were apart for long. That's probably the reason why everyone thought they were dating in high school until Janus asked Patton out and Logan confessed to Virgil.

"That is correct since we don't have many belongings to pack, but enough that we need to hire the company. And don't look so glum Janus, you can always come visit us, we will only be a few minute drive down the road," Logan said while walking back to the living room.
