Well CinnamonAngstRoll your wish is my command

That morning Virgil woke up not feeling well. It wasn't bad and he didn't immediately want to throw up, but he was still queasy at breakfast. He was barely able to get his food (waffle) down and it greatly worried Logan who was constantly asking him if he was okay or needed anything. It was fine at first, but started to get a bit annoying throughout the day.

And to make the day harder on Virgil they had to go to the grocery story since they were running out of some mandatory items (Crofters). Logan offered to go alone since he definitely noticed how Virgil had been acting that morning. However Virgil insisted on going which is how they got into this 'situation'. Virgil laid on his bed while watching Logan wander around in search of their grocery list. Once done Logan walked over to Virgil and took his hands, helping him off the bed.

"Hey Lo, is it normal to feel like you're carrying a watermelon?" Virgil asked while standing up.

"I suppose, but haven't heard much about it. Why?" Logan responded, a puzzled look on his face.

"I feel fat," said Virgil, very bluntly.

"You're not fat Virgil. You're six months pregnant with our child. I think you look beautiful," Logan held Virgil hands in his while looking into his eyes.

"Logan, honey, you're very sweet, but let's not lie to ourselves. I'm only a cup of sand away from being a beached whale," Virgil said with a small smirk of a smiled, causing Logan to roll his eyes.

"You're not a beached whale Virgil. You and a whale, although both mammals, have completely different genera. For one, whales are marine mammals while humans are, for the most part, terrestrial. You are far from a whale," argued Logan as they started walking -er, Virgil more like waddled (but don't you ever try to say that to his face. He has threatened a long and painful demise for those who do)- down the short hallway, to the garage where the car was. Yes, Virgil started to waddle, or, as most would call it, a "pregnancy strut" because of the baby.

They made it to the car and got in (Virgil being helped into his seat by Logan), then Logan getting into the drivers seat before starting up the engine and opening the garage. They drove to town where the grocery shopping began, Virgil grabbing a shopping cart and following Logan into the store. The second they stepped into the store Virgil's nauseous feeling grew in his stomach, becoming worse with every passing minute, but Virgil did his best to ignore it, wanting to enjoy his time outside of the house while he could. Logan tried to help out as much as he was allowed, but every time Logan tried to do too much Virgil was quick to tell him he wasn't completely helpless just yet (he might be getting close though).

"So what's first on the list?" Virgil asked as they headed towards the bakery section.

"We need another loaf of bread, breakfast bagels, and ice cream which is right across from the bakery," said Logan while looking down at the list.

"Alright, you get the bread and bagels. I'll find the ice cream. What type do we need?" Virgil looked over Logan's arm to read the list.

"Vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, and rocky road," Logan lowered the notepad so Virgil could see it better.

"Got it," the pregnant man then started to the ice cream section, grateful he chose to wear a hoodie out since the freezer section was a bit nippy. His eyes scanned the shelves until he found the ice creams he was looking for, opening up the freezer door and grabbing four different containers of the frozen dairy product. Virgil then placed them into the cart and turned it around, heading for the bakery section where he found Logan searching for the correct type of bagels, a loaf of bread in his hand.

"What type are you looking for?" asked Virgil as he pulled up.

"Cinnamon," answered Logan, pulling out one of the bags a few seconds later.

"Where to next?" Virgil asked, leaning his elbows on the cart and resting his chin in his hand.

"We need fruit. Specifically apples, bananas, grapes, kiwis, and blueberries. We have raspberries, oranges, and strawberries at home," Logan read from the list while putting the bread and bagels in the buggy.

"Then let's get our fruit salad," Virgil turned the cart around, but stopped abruptly, putting the back of his hand to his mouth and leaning on the buggy as the nauseous feeling made his stomach twist.

"Virgil? Are you okay?" asked Logan, walking behind Virgil and putting a hand in his back.

"Yeah. . . . Yeah. Just a bit nauseous is all. I'll be fine," said Virgil, taking his hand away from his mouth.

"Okay, but once we get home you need to lay down," Logan said as they started walking.

Virgil wanted to object, but at the moment he was either too tired or too queasy to argue with his husband. Besides, laying down sounded nice. Thankfully the trip didn't last much longer, they found all the groceries (which included three jars to Crofters) quickly and checking out even quicker. As told once they got home Virgil laid down on their bed, choosing to relax for the rest of the day and having Logan check up on him frequently until the night when they went to sleep.

This chapter is poorly written, I'm sayin it now

I count at least three more chapters until the baby comes, so prepare yourselves

Also you may notice some stuff changed in past chapters, such as the story now having background moxeit instead of royality. Well the reason is because I had a small (major) existential crisis the other day and needed to write moxeit in at least one of my stories to make me feel better.

Last thing before I go, happy birthday Roman!
