Vacuuming

"Hey Virgil, I've been wondering, how do you vacuum with Nico around? I can image him getting in the way sometimes and it being too loud to nap with," Patton asked.

They were all sitting in the living room with Nico sleeping soundly on Logan's chest. Logan nearly spit out his drink, the memory of the first time he saw Virgil vacuuming with Nico playing out in his head and causing him to smile.

"Good question Patton," Virgil said, then picked up the remote. "I recorded the answer."

Virgil pressed the 'on' button then scrolled through a complicated web of apps and setting before clicking one titled "Vacuuming w/ a 1 year old". A video started playing on the tv, Nico was sitting on the ground in a  navy blue onesie and, supposedly, Logan was filming since Virgil came in a second later with the vacuum cleaner and it was the same point of view as one on the couch would have.

"Nico wanna go for a ride?" Virgil asked, the child looking up and nodding eagerly while wiggling with excitement.

"Get on. Your going for a ride," Virgil gestured to the vacuum and Nico hurriedly began crawling over, heaving himself up on the cleaner, using the flat part as a seat and the middle area as a rest since he wrapped his short arms around it. Soft chuckling could be heard from behind the camera.

Virgil then plugged in to a socket and started vacuuming, the steady buzz of the machine filling the living room. Seeming completely content on where he was Nico laid on the vacuum as Virgil cleaned the carpet, a seemingly indifferent look on his face while going through it all. The laughter behind the camera only increased at the video played, going from a chuckle to laughter to just bordering cackling. After about a minute Virgil stopped, Nico climbing off with a big smile before crawling over to Logan who was wheezing off screen.

"That's how I do it Lo," Virgil snickered, then the video ended.

"There's your answer Pat," present Virgil said while everyone burst out laughing, only managing to not wake Nico because Logan covered his son's ears.

Short dabble for an idea I had.
