What's a pregnancy story without a entitled parent?
This story was requested the most, so heres a chapter. Coco Bean will be updated next.
(Chapter based on the first story of the video above)
It was around the sixth month into Virgil's pregnancy when Logan decided to take him out to a little café in town to relax. They decided to leave Nico with Patton and Janus, both wanting to have a little bit of time to themselves, and it's good for Patton and Janus to get experience, since they're looking into adopting children, already being verified in the system and have met several children already, but none just seemed right.
Anyway, they made it to the café where they ordered their food and sat outside as it was January in Florida, the weather was pleasant, if a bit humid. Since it was pretty early, only being 8:30, the café was very quiet, with only a business person going in for a quick cup of coffee before work.
They were chatting about simple things, like baby names, what gender they could be, how Logan's work was going, and other such things.
Virgil did mentioned how it was nice to be out of the house, which was understandable since moving around had quickly gotten exhausting now that he was at month six. While it was only the end of the second trimester the baby was really growing. This baby seemed to be growing out, rather than down, like Nico had, and because of that it made Virgil look eight months pregnant rather than six. That, and the fact that he had a small frame to begin with. The baby had been visible by halfway through the second month, so, in short, Virgil looked very pregnant and was very tired because if it.
They continued to talk until Logan noticed a little kid walking towards them. They looked to be around four years old, maybe five, but nothing over that. Maybe a little boy, since they seemed to be wearing what society classified as boy clothes and had a cringeworthy bowlcut. He walked up to their table and looked up at Virgil.
"Excuse me sir, but why are you so fat?" they asked, Virgil looking taken aback at the sudden question. Logan was surprised too, because who taught this child manners? He knew for a fact Nico would never ask such a thing as they had taught him to be polite to people (and that Nico was shy around new people).
Logan looked around to see if he saw any form of parent for the child and noticed a women smoking in front of a store a bit down the way. She was talking on the phone, clearly not paying attention to anything around her to which Logan rolled his eyes.
"Irresponsible parenting," he thought to himself, looking back at Virgil and this child.
Virgil had since laughed at the question, since he wasn't spineless and could definitely stand up for himself, he just preferred not to unless necessary.
"Well it's because I'm growing a baby," Virgil gently told the child, using the same voice he does when Nico is upset and needs to be calmed down.
Logan watched as the little kid started thinking about this, his mind spinning to understand how fat person=baby. After about a minute he looked back up at Virgil.
"How?" he asked.
Now Logan didn't really want to tell this child the actual way since it wasn't his place and this child definitely seemed too young to know. Some people say storks bring babies, or they got to the cabbage patch, others say boning. Logan had never thought about what he'd say and he could only be grateful that Nico hadn't asked yet.
