Logan woke up that morning not feeling great. He hadn't been feeling satisfactory all week, but this day was the worst. For one thing he was feeling incredibly dizzy, and had a terribly stuffy nose and dry throat. He had to have great coordination skills to make it out the door of their bedroom, but never made it out of the house as his stumbling around in the kitchen alerted Nico, who had since gotten an actual bed instead of the crib.

"Dada, somethin wrong?" the toddler asked from the hallway, rubbing his eyes with one hand and holding his stuffed cat, Oreo, in the other arm.

"I'm fine honey, you can go back to sleep," Logan said, the act of simply using his vocal cords aggravating his throat.

"No. You not. I go get daddy to help you like he help me when I no feel good," Nico decided, walking through the kitchen to Virgil and Logan's room.

"No, Nico don't wake up your daddy," mumbled Logan, but he really could stop him if he tried. He was just lacking so much energy, he decided to sit down at the kitchen table.

"Lo? You okay, love?" Logan looked up to see Virgil walking in carrying Nico, his son having a triumphant smirk on his face as he looked at Logan.

Logan didn't answer, he just stared tiredly at his husband. Virgil walked over and placed the hand not holding Nico on Logan's forehead, Logan leaning into his husband's cool palm.

"You're definitely a warm. I'm going to call the doctor's office and schedule an appointment. I don't want you getting sick on me," said Virgil, setting Nico down in his chair and heading back to their room to grab his phone.

Nico sat with Logan while they waited, Everglade coming to join them after realizing everyone was up. Virgil returned about ten minutes later, already changed into a day's outfit.

"I called the doctor's and they can check you out in thirty minutes. Com'on Nico, let's get you dressed so we can see what's wrong with dada," explained Virgil, picking up Nico and starting to take him to his room, but not before turning to look back at Logan.

"Stay. No going to work," Virgil ordered, then left with Nico.

Virgil knew him too well; Logan definitely would've tried going to work if Virgil hadn't told him not to. Five minutes later and they were back, Virgil dragging Logan to the car and putting him in the passenger seat then buckling Nico up in the back.

"Virgil should you be driving while pregnant?" Logan mumbled from his seat.

"From everything I read I can. I just have to be comfort with it and be able to reach everything, which I am. For today at least," Virgil replied.

"Alright," Logan gave in without arguing as he was definitely not in peak condition for a debate. Though he did feel terrible mentally for making his husband do all this. Virgil was already busy taking care of Nico and Everglade along with growing a child, and now Logan had to go and get himself sick.

Virgil drove them to the doctor's office in fifteen minutes, when they arrived they (meaning Virgil) filled out the "Why Are You Here?" sheet then returned it. They had to wait for ten-ish minutes, Nico being very calm and playing Angry Birds in Virgil's phone as he sat next to Virgil (unable to sit in Virgil's lap because of the baby and unable to sit in Logan's lap because he's sick).

"Logan Sanders?" a nurse called, Virgil having to once again drag his basically brain-dead husband to the back where he got the full examination. After many questions from the doctor they said it was something similar to pneumonia, but in a much smaller scale. Left untreated it could've turned into pneumonia and put not only Nico and the baby, but also Virgil at risk. Thankfully they caught it before it could do any real damage.

The doctor gave them the prescription, they checked out at the counter, the attendant behind the desk gave Nico a lollipop and sticker despite not being the patient, and they left the clinic. After quickly picking up Logan's medicine and giving it to him they returned home were Virgil basically carried Logan to bed.

"The doctor said to relax and get some rest. You're not allowed to go to work for three day, you understand?" Virgil asked as he sat next to Logan on the bed.

"Mhmm," responded Logan.

"Good. Love you, Lo. Get better soon and I'll call the office to tell them your OoA," Virgil smiled, giving Logan's kiss on the forehead before tucking him in and closing the door, turning out the lights on his way out.

Logan was asleep with mere minutes.

This is heavily based on the last time I was sick. I condensed it a lot because I'm tired, but whatever.

Also, I have a fun little question for y'all: What is your favorite chapter of this book?

I'm seriously just curious. I'm just being driven by curiosity. It's just a fun survey to see everyone's opinions.

If you do answer you can explain why it's your favorite (only if you want to), and you can even rank your top five or top ten favorite chapters (again, only if you want to).

(It just had to be this book and it's chapters, but I'll also do this in one of my other books, so keep an eye out for that.)
