"Tell me again why we're doing this, Patton?" Virgil said as he was dragged by the wrist into a baby store.

"Well Virgil we're here to find you some shirts and dresses. You can't go your entire pregnancy wearing hoodies," said Patton, the doors sliding open as they entered.

"Is that a challenge?" Virgil asked while freeing his wrist and crossing his arms over his chest, but still following Patton.

"Okay, correction: you shouldn't go through your entire pregnancy wearing hoodies. Besides, there are plenty of shirts and dresses here that you'll like," Patton revised his former statement as they walked to the pregnancy section.

"But why did we have to come out? Couldn't we just stay at home and do this online?" whined the five month pregnant man.

"Virgil you barely ever get out of the house now and it's only going to get harder the longer you're pregnant. Enjoy the time you can move around and not feel exhausted," reasoned Patton while taking Virgil's wrist once again.

"Patton let me be a couch potato in peace!" Virgil groaned.

"Not on my watch! Com'on, this'll be fun," They stopped at the pregnancy outfits section, many different shirts, pants, and dresses were on display and handing up on racks.

Virgil sighed and resigned himself to the fate of outfit shopping with Patton, deciding there could be worst options and started to browse through the different colors and styles of dresses.

"Do you have any preferences on dresses Virgil?" asked Patton while he bounded around a dresses rack.

"Nothing too fancy, long, short, or tight. Something loose so I don't feel like a cocoon of my own misery and life regrets," Virgil said while fingering through some of the dresses on clearance.

"Having a baby isn't going to be a regret Virgil," Patton looked over at him with his pale blue eyes.

"Well it hasn't been a complete joy either. My back is already hurting and it's only the second trimester," huffed Virgil while taking a dress off the rack. It was a plum purple dress with white flowers on the skirt, the skirt itself going to his knees.

"Ooo, that one's pretty," Patton said while glancing over.

"And soft, feel it Patton," Virgil handed the dress over to him and the mixed blond felt the fabric, agreeing that it was soft.

"What about this one Virgil?" Patton help up a pretty purple dress that seemed to end a tiny bit above the knees and had lace sleeves, "It's very soft."

Virgil felt the dress and, indeed it was incredibly soft and silky, also one for third trimester pregnancy bellies which could be useful in the future.

"It's nice," Virgil smiled.

"So we found two dresses so far?"

"Yup, we can keep looking for a bit though," Virgil said, actually starting to enjoy himself being outside and seeing all the dresses.

"Oh my Lanta, Virgil look at this funny shirt," called Patton who had migrated from the dress racks to the shirt stands.
