Imma Be a Big Broder

Saturday came and Virgil fully believed Nico was ready.

The week had been difficult though, with the morning sickness being absolutely horrendous for Virgil. He could barely keep anything down now-a-days and had to fight to be able to eat. Throwing up had be some a regular thing now and he was getting very close to giving up and finding some medicine to stop the constant vomiting. Though it wasn't all bad, Nico and Everglade definitely making things better in the whole baby department.

Any who, Saturday, everyone was over, Virgil and Nico sitting on the couch while Remus and Roman were on the ground doing who knows what, Janus and Patton in one arm chair while Logan's in another. The television was on in the background playing a movie, but no one was really paying attention, everyone too busy with their conversations to care.

After about two hours both Nico and Virgil had grown bored, the father-son duo just hanging out on the couch while everyone else chatted.

"Nico, do you wanna tell dada something?" Virgil whispered to his child.

Nico's eyes lit up and he nodded eagerly, climbing off Virgil's lap and walking over to Logan, Virgil taking out his phone so he could get pictures of everyone's reactions. The two and a half year old sauntered over to his other father, pulling on Logan's pant leg to get his attention. Logan stopped his conversation with the twins, looking down at Nico and hoisting him into his lap.

"Yes Nico? Do you need something?" Logan asked, the twins looking over at them as did Patton and Janus.

"Yes. I wanna tell ya' somdin', dada an' unkies," Nico said, the five leaning in slightly while Virgil tried to stifle his giggles.

"And what might that be, kiddo?" Patton asked.

"Imma be a big broder!" Nico exclaimed proudly.

"Really? That's nice to hear" Roman said, the words not fully sinking in just yet.

Virgil had to stop himself from snorting with laughter at his oblivious they all were, yet he was the one who was pregnant.

"Wait a minute. Nico could you say that again, honey?" Janus asked, him being the one to pick up on details the fastest.

"Imma be a big broder!" grinned the toddler, both Logan and Janus' eyes widening to the size of saucers.

"Virgil are you pregnant?!" Logan demanded, leaping out of his chair and standing up while Virgil was seriously trying to not burst out laughing at everyone's shocked faces. He got the pictures and nodded his head, unable to form words as he fought against the laugher.

Logan let out a happy shout, placing Nico on the ground and picking Virgil up, Virgil bursting out laughing at Logan peppered his face with kisses.

"Logan stap! Stap!" Virgil laughed, everyone else laughing too as Logan set Virgil back down on the couch, this time sitting next to him.

"I'd take it you didn't know about this?" Janus snarked while Patton peered over his husband's shoulder, looking like he was about to burst with excitement.

"No! Not a damn clue!" Logan shouted, adrenaline of joy getting the best of him while Virgil hurriedly covered Nico's ears.

"This is so wild! Y'all're gonna be haven a second one! Finally!" cheered Roman.

"More minions for me!" cackled Remus.

"Really Remus? I don't think Nico is much of a 'minion' of yours considering he can barely stay away from his parents for more than a day," said Janus, Roman laughing at the look on Remus' face.

"You take my children I take your kidneys," Virgil said in the most serious voice they've heard.

Nico climbed up onto Logan's lap while the adults tried to figure out how to respond to what Virgil said.

"No one touches my children," Virgil glared at Remus and Roman, the twins putting their hands up in surrender.

"It'll be alright Virgil. Everything will turn out just fine," Logan said, finally calming down after the excitement.

"Yup," agreed everyone else.

They didn't believe I could do it. But here I am!
