Sasuke would drift from slumber and waking up. He could still feel the numbness from the anaesthesia that woman intentionally forgot to give him before dumping his body with antiseptic that almost sent Sasuke to the land over yonder. Is she really a Doctor? How could she play with a patient like that by dumping them with antiseptic without anaesthesia? She's more on the league with those men who tortured him.

That's right, those men, Sasuke suddenly remembered.

The whole manor was silent. It was too quiet. It was the night of his parents' death anniversary and Sasuke had just gone back home from visiting their memorials in Kyoto. And when he came back, everything was quiet, a stillness in the air that almost made his hair rise on edge.

Everything happened so quickly. Everything Sasuke held true shattered before his eyes as his brother, the only man he ever trusted, betrayed him by crushing the illusion Sasuke had been living all those years.

"I'm going to kill you," he said as he opened his eyes. Nails digging on his palm but he could not feel it as his body was still numb. "I swear I'm going to kill you with my own hands, Itachi."

In the other room, Sakura sat in the bathtub. She let her whole muscles relax as the lukewarm water hugged her naked body. Rubbing off all the sweats and dirt from her body, she decided to stand up from the tub and changed into a much comfortable pyjamas. The tequila Sakura drunk a few hours ago had gone down her system as she decided to take a much needed glass of wine. She always kept a bottle of Montecarlo in her nightstand, a small refrigerator where she kept some ice cubes and a glass where she poured the red wine.

She sat on a couch and enjoyed the reach grape wine in silence.

Sakura still wonder who that man is. He doesn't look like an ordinary and those don't look like ordinary wounds.

"Was he tortured?" she asked herself as she took a sip. She was holding her phone, contemplating whether to call the Police Station. Ino's father is a senior officer and he has a lot of connections in Tokyo Police Department. They might get some information about this man sleeping in her guest room.

Sakura took a deep breath before placing her phone on the coffee table in front. She decided not to call the police, she'll have plenty of time tomorrow interrogating him herself.

Only Sakura hope her decision would not be as bad. Downing the wine in her glass, Sakura turned the lights off, keeping her lampshade on as she lie on the bed, staring into the ceiling before sleep finally took her in a dreamless slumber.

Sakura woke up to the sound of the digital clock buzzing beside her. She groaned and pushed the alarm off before walking towards the kitchen, tucking her silky robe and tying the sash around her waist. She made a much needed black coffee and went opened an energy bar which she ate in a minute after downing the contents in her mug and going straight to the bathroom to take a short shower.

Taking a peek on her wristwatch, Sakura decided to hasten her pace as she put on her clothes and took her car keys, rushing outside her apartment complex and towards her car.

Sakura's day went by in a blur as she busied herself in the Hospital. Completely forgetting last night's event and a certain man sleeping in her guest room.

Only when Sakura parked her car in front of her apartment complex did she remember about the man.

"Shit," she hissed as she bumped her forehead on the steering wheel and squeezed her eyes closed.

She took a deep breath and decided to walk inside her house. The living room was dark, nothing is out of place as Sakura took off her shoes and walked towards the kitchen. Taking a pitcher of cold water in the refrigerator, she calmed her nerves by letting the water glide down her throat.

She leaned on the kitchen island, putting the glass on the side as she took her phone from her pocket. Should she call the police now? They might be able to help the man. Taking another deep breath she started to dial the number of Tokyo Police Department.

But she was just on the second number when Sakura felt a looming presence behind her that made her hair stand on edge.

"Don't even think about it."

A very cold and menacing voice made Sakura freeze. She suddenly felt her throat drying up as she gulped.

"Press that call and you're dead."

There he goes again, threatening to kill her. What had she done wrong? Sakura even helped him and saved him from possibly dying and now he's threatening her again. Well, maybe she did dump the antiseptic on him without any anaesthesia but even before that he was threatening her.

"Why don't you turn around?" Sasuke was starting to get annoyed, he absolutely hated it when he's talking to someone whose back was facing him. The woman slowly turned around, fear written all over her features.

Sakura gasped. 80 percent of her surprise was because of the man standing half naked in front of him. His bandages are new so Sakura judged that he changed it himself while Sakura is in the Hospital. She couldn't see his face that much because the kitchen was barely lit.

"You-You're awake," Sakura couldn't help but stutter. "How are you feeling?"

Sasuke did not answer her question as his eyes bore into her. She was somewhat familiar but the thought of racking his brain to find that certain memory made his head throb. "I need you to swear upon an oath."

Sakura frown, she was sure his head was not damage in any way but now he's suddenly talking about oaths.

"What oath?"

Sasuke stepped closer and Sakura doesn't like how she inevitably took a step back.

"Omerta," he said, eyes narrowing as he glared at her in the dimly lit room.

"W-what?" she couldn't fight the quiver in her voice as she stuttered; back suddenly hitting the kitchen counter as she gasped inaudibly.

"Omerta is a code of silence practiced by Mafia Organizations."

"You're in the Yakuza?"

He stalked closer, taking a step and another and then another until he was only inches away from her. He was tall, looming over her in intimidation but she couldn't tear her eyes off him.

"I'm not just in the Yakuza. I am the Yakuza."
