Chapter 6: Past

"What's your name?"

"Sakura! My name is Sakura."

"You mean like the Cherry Blossom?"

Sakura sat in the bathtub, scent of cherry blossom wafting the enclosed bathroom as she relaxed her shoulders. She was still holding the piece of paper that Sasuke left before he went on his merry way to heaven knows where.

"Sasuke..." Sakura trailed off, trying his name with her tongue just to hear how it sounds.

It sounded like a name of someone great. Why didn't Sakura even thought of asking him his name when he'd been staying in her house for a week?

That's right, Sakura doesn't care about the name of a Yakuza, he's too dangerous as he is and knowing his name would be more dangerous.

"Sasuke-san?" Sakura tried to use honorific. But somehow that honorific doesn't quite suit him.

"Sasuke-dono?" Sakura shook her head. That one doesn't even fit him at all.

Sakura slowly sink in the tub as she lifted her hand that was holding the paper to prevent it from getting soaked by the water.

"Sasuke...-kun?"

Sakura blinked as she repeated her word. "Sasuke-kun,"

That somehow suits him and it somehow made a strange feeling passed through Sakura as she felt her cheeks heat up.

Who knew that little kid who was crying because of a scraped knee would grow that gorgeous and handsome?

But then again, he became a Yakuza and Sakura doesn't know if it's a good thing or not. Besides, she still couldn't get over the fact that she saw him beaten so badly that night. Why was he even beaten like that? Are there people who wanted him dead? Then, Sakura wondered where he is now.

"Why do I even care? At least I already saved his life, it's up to him whether to throw it away or not."

Sakura placed the note on the side atop her bathrobe before finally sinking on the water, holding her breath as she closed her eyes letting herself be one with water as memories flooded once again.

"Sakura, I think you should be a Doctor someday."

"Should I?"

"Then if I become a Doctor, what would you be when you grow up?"

"I don't know, I think when I grow up, I will be taking over my family's business."
