Naruto was sitting on the couch in the living room of Sasuke's residence, his arms cross in front of his chest, eyes squinting skeptically as he stare at Sasuke and Sakura who are sitting across him.

Earlier this afternoon, just as Sakura convinced Sasuke to leave the shopping mall because they've already bought more than enough things for the baby, they had to cross paths with Naruto who is wandering around the mall by himself. Which was really odd to begin with, Sasuke thought. Not to mention, he looks like he's looking at the store they had just gone to but he remained quiet about it, for now.

"So," Naruto started. "My two best friends, whom I trust the most in this world, didn't bother telling me about the news?"

His eyes traveled from Sasuke, then to Sakura before his eyes went down her stomach and he squinted his eyes again, making Sakura a bit uncomfortable as she scooted closer to Sasuke before Naruto averted his eyes and put his palms on top of his chest.

"I'm really heartbroken you know! Hey Sasuke-teme! Why didn't you tell me Sakura-chan's pregnant?! That's so unfair, shouldn't you guys told me about it first?" He was being overdramatic again and Sasuke just rolled his eyes.

"And why should I tell you first?" Sasuke asked, raising his eyebrow as Naruto sniffed and wiped imaginary tears from the side of his eyes.

"Why?! Because I'm Sakura-chan's best friend and you and I are practically brothers teme!"

Sasuke almost cringed as he shook his head and sighed. Sure they're close, but sometimes hearing Naruto saying things like they're practically brothers out loud like this is giving Sasuke nightmares already.

"We're going to tell everyone soon anyways," Sakura said as Naruto turned to her.

"When? When the baby's already born?"

"No, Naruto," Sakura said, trying her best not to get annoyed as she took a deep breath. "We're planning to hold a small dinner party on Christmas Eve  once we find out the gender of the baby so stop whining over it."

"Oh, is that so?" Naruto asked as he shrugged his shoulders. "Well, congratulations in advance!"

Sasuke stood up as Naruto followed and Sakura looked him. "Do you want to have dinner with us Naruto?"

"Nah, I'm going home. Hinata's waiting," he said as Sakura nodded. She proceeded upstairs while Sasuke walked with Naruto to the front door.

"Hey," Sasuke said as they stopped outside. "What were you doing in that store?"

"What store?" Naruto asked, blinking his eyes in confusion.

"We both know what store I'm talking about."

Sasuke leaned on the door frame as he crossed his arms atop his chest and looked at Naruto who has his eyebrows knitted and looks as if he genuinely had no idea what store Sasuke was talking about.

"The one where they sell baby stuff? You were there, weren't you?" Sasuke asked, pressing the matter as Naruto suddenly perked up.

"Oh! That store," he said. "Well, you see," he said, leaning in as he put his hand beside his mouth like he was going to whisper and share in a secret with Sasuke which was completely unnecessary because no one's around to eavesdrop.
