Sasuke has run many simulations and scenarios in his head for when it's time for the baby's arrival. He has always does that kind of thing, run scenarios to prepare himself. But then again, the scenarios and simulation he ran in his head may have been a lot different before. When he was young and the Yakuza organization is all he's ever known, he'd run scenarios for when he would meet his enemies and how to kill them. But now, this is completely different.

In fact, so different that he actually never assume this kind of scenario would ever happen. Like he knew how rare it is for pregnant women to have their water broken naturally. The Obstetrician said it will be broken by the Doctor. And it's too early than the presume date of delivery. Whether that's a good thing or not, Sasuke knew of one thing.

"How do you expect me to stay calm," he said, holding Sakura's hand as she controlled her breathing, inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

"Are you in pain?" He asked when Sakura leaned towards him.

The whole place was loud with some upbeat music but despite that Sai still noticed something was wrong when he looked at Sasuke and Sakura but before he could ask anything Ino suddenly came.

"Hey boyfriend, let's dance!" She said through the loud music and Sai smiled at her before standing up.

Because of the dimly light and lasers around, Ino didn't notice anything was up or she was just too excited that she was gone as fast as she came with Sai following behind her. Not that Sakura mind at all, if anything she's more focus in subsiding the pain from contractions to even speak to anyone.

"Sasuke-kun," Sakura said, her voice a bit shaking as she leaned more. "Let's get outside. I don't want to ruin the reception by giving birth here."

"You're not ruining anything," Sasuke said firmly, he doesn't like how she said that but then again, Sakura was just in much pain she wasn't able to rephrase her statement.

"Can you walk?"

Sakura nodded as she held Sasuke's hand for support and stood up. They were near the entrance so they didn't have a hard time walking out of the reception hall. Sakura was just glad the contractions aren't that painful. They stood outside in the parking lot and Sasuke opened the door of the car and helped her get in before he took his phone and dialled Karin's number, hoping that her phone isn't on silent because he couldn't see her anywhere in the reception hall. Fortunately, it was answered after a few rings.

"Hello?" She asked, looking around the hall to see where Sasuke and Sakura are seated because she knew something was up. There's no way Sasuke would call her in the middle of the reception.

"Karin, we're in the parking lot. The water was broken." Sasuke said and ended the call.

Karin took her purse and immediately went outside where she saw Sasuke standing outside his car. They practically sped through the street of Tokyo and everything from then was a blur.

Around three hours later, Sasuke found himself standing in the operating room, beside Sakura as she held his hand. Well, that was what the Doctor said, hold her hand. But Sakura is practically squeezing his hand Sasuke could no longer feel anything on that hand. But compared to that, he knew she was in more pain. They gave her anaesthesia but she still seems like she's in pain as she scream and Sasuke could only bit his tongue as he silently hope it will be over soon.

The soon was another half an hour and with one last push, the Doctor pulled the baby out gently and Sakura felt like almost all the energy in her was suck out as she panted and leaned on the bed, her hold on Sasuke's hand slowly loosen.
