The following events transpired two days prior to Valentine's Day and one week and a half prior to the present. It was during the time Sasuke told Sakura that he has a business to attend to.

"You're going out Sasuke-kun?"

"Yeah, I need to tend on something important. I'm going back this evening."

When Sasuke stepped outside, the car was already waiting for him and Aoda stood outside. He bowed in respect and opened the door of the car as Sasuke walked in. It was a few minutes of silence after Aoda drove off from the residence until Sasuke finally spoke.

"It's been a while since I last went to Kyoto," Sasuke said, looking out the window. "How long will it take us to get to Kyoto?"

"It will take us roughly around two hours and twenty minutes, Sasuke-sama," Aoda answered, looking up to the mirror briefly to see his young master looking out the window with a solemn expression.

Truth was, Sasuke doesn't want to go to Kyoto. Not yet, anyways. The place where his family's memorial was located. Sasuke doesn't want to relive all the memories he had in the place yet and Aoda knew that, but he decided to keep quiet.

"Are we going to take Tokaido Shinkansen?" Sasuke asked, referring to the high-speed bullet train in Shinagawa.

"Yes, Sasuke-sama,"

Sasuke noticed the way Aoda was giving him glances as Sasuke looked ahead. "What is it?"

"Sasuke-sama, forgive me for asking, but are you going to pay a visit to the Clan's memorial?"

Sasuke's face remained stoic, not a small amount of any significant emotion managed to slip out of his perfect façade. But Aoda could notice the slightest change in his eyes, since he's been with Sasuke since he was practically an infant, he could notice the changes in his façade.

"No," Sasuke said simply and looked away again, aware that Aoda had caught the glimpse of emotion in his eyes.

The two took the Nozomi train, the fastest train to get them to Kyoto. As they settled on their seats, Sasuke closed his eyes after leaning in, letting himself relaxed as he drifted off to sleep.

Two hours later, the speakers announced that they are nearing Kyoto Station. Once the two stepped out of the bullet train, two cars awaited them as four men stood outside the vehicles. When Sasuke and Aoda approached them, the men bowed in respect.

"Welcome back, Sasuke-sama," they said in unison before Sasuke waved his hand dismissively and went inside the car, sitting comfortably in the back seat as Aoda settled beside him.
