Sakura stirred in her sleep. She did remember fainting after that very vivid encounter with those Yakuza. But she absolutely did not remember falling asleep in a king size bed with soft comforters and warm duvet. And especially not in an unfamiliar looking bedroom that Sakura was one hundred percent positive that this isn't her bedroom from the ceiling and corners and down to the floor, the whole place screamed unfamiliarity to her.
"Where am I?" she asked herself as she slowly got up from the bed. The duvet slid down as Sakura noticed that she was wearing a black t-shirt instead of the top she remembered wearing this morning. Other than that, she was still in her jeans and still has her chastity intact, probably.
Standing up, she also noticed the bandages around her upper arm where the bullet grazed her. She was on her bare feet, walking on the Persian rug and out of the bedroom. She looked around the whole place, there was a staircase in the middle leading to what looks like a private library and another bedroom. The living room was located where the balcony was overlooking the Tokyo skyline and the Tokyo tower could be seen in the distance.
"Am I in a hotel?" she asked as she walked toward the sliding door leading to the balcony.
She slid the door and stepped outside the veranda where the fresh morning breeze welcomed her. The sun about to rise from the horizon as the lights below dim one by one, the people in Tokyo started to welcome another day as the traffic started to get busier by the minute.
"You're already awake."
A voice almost startled Sakura as she jolted and quickly turned around.
Sasuke stood in front, wearing a sweater Sakura recognized as the one she bought for him last week.
"Breakfast," he simply stated as he turned around and walk towards where Sakura suspect as the kitchen.
The dining area was very much like western style, as much as everything in this suite. Sakura sat in one of the stool and propped her elbows on the kitchen island.
"You're not going to call hotel service?" She asked out of pure curiosity as Sasuke opened the refrigerator.
"Unlike you, I know how to cook."
Sakura averted her eyes, cheeks burning in embarrassment. She made a silent pledge to cook for him even once so he'd stop teasing her about the subject. It wasn't her fault she had no time studying how to cook because apparently, she devoted all her time studying medicine which if it weren't the case, Sasuke would have been dead by now, in a technical way of speaking.
Sakura busied herself by taking mental notes. Her sick leave ends today so she needed to go back to the Hospital. But first, she has to go back to her apartment. She could take a taxi back and get ready before eight.
Last night's events were scary, to say the least. What if things like that happen again? She doesn't want to think about it yet. There are lots of patients waiting for her in the Hospital. Sakura decided to think about it when the time comes and something like that happen again. She could talk to Ino's father but Sakura remembered Ino saying how filthy rich the Yakuza organizations are. Well, looking at this suite Sakura could tell that much.
