In a world where people get hurt when they keep silent for too long, and people get hurt when they talk for too much. Uchiha Sasuke thought he was bound to live in that world until the day he cross the land over yonder.
But then he met that girl.
"Sakura! My name is Sakura."
"You mean, like the Cherry Blossom?"
More than twenty years ago, they met on that one fateful day, when he was young and naïve and he was running after his older brother. He remembered hurting his knees when he tripped, and then she was there to treat his wound with skillful hands. He was the one who said she should become a Doctor and when she asked him what he will become when he grow up, he can't really say much about it. Because as a son of a Yakuza boss, his whole life was planned out for him.
But most of the things that occur in life may not happen according to plan.
And she came back to his life as a Doctor.
"Omerta,"
"W-What?"
"Omerta is a code of silence practice by Yakuza Organizations."
There was a time when she almost put herself in danger by being bound to that rule. And that same time Sasuke realized, if she will protect him with his silence he will have to protect her with his life.
It wasn't until that night when she came back to his penthouse drunk that Sasuke realized just what it was that he wanted to do with her. He felt an urge to make her his, and as that urge grow he decided to never let her go. After all, it was her who said those words to him that same night.
"I will stay, because I'm the only one left who can show you how it feels to be loved."
But as the urge to be with her grow, another urge came and Sasuke knew that this one cannot easily be shrugged off. The urge to take revenge and kill a certain man.
His brother.
And as his brother drew his last breath and uttered those words to him, guilt ate him alive. But there she was, with her open arms she held him as he cried, asking her to fix him.
Sooner after that, they moved to a residence in Sumida where the Cherry Blossoms are the most prettiest in Spring and the most nostalgic in Autumn and for once in his life he thought everything will finally be stable. Until he read his brother's letter.
As a storm passed another one brewed and this time, a certain Organization entered the picture.
