After finishing the final arrangements for the venue, Sakura found herself in a bridal boutique while Sasuke was on another trip with Naruto. It is actually a good thing Sakura asked Ino to accompany her in trying wedding dresses. Sakura heard about a superstition once that it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride wearing the wedding dress before the actual wedding but Sasuke doesn't seem to care about any superstition because when Sakura asked why he wouldn't be accompanying her to the bridal boutique, he said he needed some things to arrange with Naruto and assured her that it would be better not to see Sakura wearing the gown yet because it might kinda spoil things.
The boutique is located in Ginza District, where amongst the high-end fashion brands the name Fleur de Cerisier written in elegant font can be seen outside a western looking boutique.
"The designer and owner is a good friend of mine, though I suggest you not to mention anything about men," Kurenai whispered to both Ino and Sakura as they nodded.
A few moments later, a woman walked in. Her most prominent features were her blazing red hair that flows down her back, wearing a tight blue dress and a gorgeous smile, she greeted Sakura. It was hard to tell the woman's age considering her youthful appearance but if Kurenai said they are friends then they might be close in age.
"Hello there, I'm Terumi Mei, you must be Haruno Sakura that Kurenai has been talking about," she said as she offered a hand to Sakura for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you, Mei-san," Sakura said, slightly bowing her head.
"What a gorgeous bride with a gorgeous name. Mind you, my shop is named after the Cherry Blossom."
Sakura nodded. She wasn't really accustomed to any foreign language but Sakura knew the name was French judging by the way it was written. The shop also took after the western vibe rather than the traditional Japanese shop. Although it was a refreshing thing to try out something new for the wedding instead of being tied to tradition, besides, Sasuke doesn't seem to be bound with tradition either.
"By the way, who is the groom, if you don't mind my asking?"
Sakura briefly looked at Kurenai who averted her eyes and busied herself with looking at the different displayed gowns. She was the one who said not to mention men but Mei asked so Sakura thought it would be rather rude not to answer.
"It's Uchiha Sasuke," Sakura said, her smile slowly vanishing when she saw how Mei's expression changed into a frown.
"That boy?!"
Sakura and Ino visibly flinched when Mei suddenly raise her voice.
"W-What boy?" Sakura asked cautisouly as she looked at Kurenai for help but she was so busy checking out gowns.
"The direspectful boy had the audacity to mocked me when he found out I wasn't married yet. Oh the nerve of that boy."
Sakura didn't know whether to agree or to chuckle and shrug it off. Besides, she keeps referring to Sasuke as a boy when he is in fact no longer a teenager and Sakura knew Mei might be older than she initially thought.
---
Naruto looked up and frown when he noticed Sasuke visibly shivered but the air-conditioner in the shop wasn't that cold.
