Sakura has heard a lot about the sunsets in beaches. They say it is one of the most beautiful sunsets you can see in any landscape, well in this case, a seascape. It was indeed beautiful, the purple value of the sky in Tokyo was nothing compared to the orange ombre smudged on the sky in the beach like it was a scene straight out of a painting.
It was so beautiful even admired from afar, through the balcony of the hotel as Sakura stare at the scenery in front, overlooking the beach and as the sun set, it reflected on the ocean. And as the wind blow it carried with it the faint smell of sea from the distance.
"Do you like it here?" Sasuke asked from behind, and for a second Sakura was almost taken aback when she suddenly heard his voice. She was in a somewhat reverie of her own that she's a bit surprised when Sasuke suddenly spoke.
"Compared to the busy Tokyo, this is kind of refreshing," Sakura answered, her gaze still fixated on the sun that has already set. "But I don't want to get use to this place. We can come here once or twice a year, but I don't want to stay here for too long."
Sakura heard a hum from behind as Sasuke took a step closer. "Why is that?"
"Because if I stay here every day, the excitement I get would slowly vanish. I want to preserve the nostalgia of this place so I don't want to stay here for too long." Sakura couldn't help the slight laugh that escaped her mouth as she shook her head. "Why do I sound so melodramatic?"
Instead of hearing Sasuke's remark, because more often that not he would usually have one ready, Sakura felt his finger tracing her back where the tattoo was and Sakura was about to turn around when Sasuke stopped her.
"Stay still," he said. "Let me admire this tattoo for a moment."
Sakura stayed still, sighing in contentment as she felt his fingers tracing invisible patterns on her back. The gesture made goosebumps rise on her arm and neck as Sakura found herself inclining her head. It wasn't until Sakura felt the warm breath against her skin and then a lips giving the tattoo a feather light kiss did Sakura gasped. The kiss lingered for a moment, like a feather's until Sakura felt him nibble on her neck before he bit it lightly and Sakura quickly turned around as she faced Sasuke who slowly furrowed his brows.
"I- I wasn't exactly...expecting that," Sakura said as she rubbed the back of her neck, goosebumps still rising up her arms and her face was so hot and red she doubt if there's even a difference between her red cheeks and a tomato.
The frown that Sasuke had was replace by a smirk, which wasn't exactly what Sakura was expecting either but boy does it made him look all the more dashing.
"Well I guess you aren't expecting this either," Sasuke said and before Sakua could spare a second to process his words, he was kissing her on the lips.
Sakura felt her back hit the railing of the balcony before she put her hands on his cheeks and leaned out, partly to catch her breath and to tell Sasuke something that he must have forgotten.
"Sasuke-kun, we're outside, people can see us," Sakura said, before she turned her head to look at the people below. They weren't that far from the shore and there are people who can really see them from the balcony.
But instead of being concern, Sasuke look almost nonchalant, way too nonchalant. "So? They can look however they want. I couldn't care less."
Before Sasuke could get back into peppering her with love bites, Sakura held his face again.
"We could at least get inside," she reasoned with him with a smile before she was suddenly yanked upwards, Sasuke carrying her back inside and it wasn't exactly the best position to be carried.
