Are you ready for it?

Finally the day of Grace's big event arrived and she was getting ready in the girls bedroom. Taylor and her mom were downstairs playing Scrabble, a game she refused to play with Grace any longer because she hated constantly losing.

She finished applying her makeup for the second time that day, the first to cover Taylor's display of affection from Thursday, the second to make her self look presentable. She was just sliding into her dress when Taylor walked in suddenly.

"Good timing, can you zip me up?" Grace asked as she smiled at the blonde who was in sweatpants and a hoodie.

"Yeah, hold on one second," Taylor said, plugging her phone in on the end table.

"Thanks," Grace replied as she walked over to her fiancé and turned around.

Taylor set down her device and began to pull the zipper up, smiling at how stunning Grace looked. The dress was a floor length, black dress that hugged her body perfectly, "You look beautiful."

"Thank you, I'm hoping to impress some of Will's investors tonight," Grace laughed, spinning to kiss the taller girl.

"Don't impress them too much," Taylor joined in, loose giggles slipping from her bare lips, "Make sure Karlie films your speech for me, okay? I wish I could come but I'll be cheering you on from home."

"Got it, I love you," Grace answered as Taylor fixed one of her curls so it wasn't hanging weird along her shoulder.

"Love you too, have fun. I actually came up here to tell you that the driver is outside."

"Oh perfect, I need to get going. I should be home by eleven-thirty and if I'm going to be late I will call you. Don't drive your mom too crazy, okay?" The heiress smiled, kissing Taylor's cheek quickly before grabbing her clutch and heading for the door.

"I'll be nice," Taylor promised, "I want a video of that speech!"

"You'll get one," Grace called as she walked down the hallway, saying a quick goodbye to Andrea in the living room before leaving the house, her driver for the night standing next to the vehicle to open the door for her.

"Evening, Ms. Kent," the man smiled.

"Good evening," she answered, stepping carefully in and glancing at the window that overlooked the driveway from their room, Taylor standing there watching her in the curtains.

She rolled the window down and blew a kiss, making the blonde smile and wave in return. Taylor disappeared from her sight as the car pulled away, making the fifteen minute drive to the hall they had rented out for the evening.

A highly publicized event for not only the charity but also for the firm, there were photographers outside that snapped pictures of her entering. The valet unnecessary because she and William both were escorted to the gala by a driver.

Just after she posed for her pictures, Karlie and her brother arrived in the next vehicle, the cameras going wild again. This was the first event Karlie and William would debut as a couple, his arm around her waist as they smiled for the photographers, Karlie's baby bump now apparent although she was small for her second trimester.

She spent the night making small talk, greeting guests and talking to some of the company's investors. She was more graceful at that kind of thing than her brother was, remaining the representative for them at most events although she had handed over majority of her inheritance.

"And now a word from my sister, who was kind enough to put this wonderful event together for us tonight. Please welcome Grace everyone," William announced after his short toast, handing the microphone over and hugging her quickly, stepping off the stage.
