Part 7: Talk

     After Jimin left the room in a hurry, Jungkook looked at Jin with a worried look on his face. Jin could tell that he was worried about what he wanted to ask and quickly went to die down his worries.

"Don't worry Jungkook. I'm not going to ask anything personal, but if you need someone to open up to, don't be afraid to talk to me. I only need to ask a couple of questions on how the situation came up and how you got on our territory." This calmed Jungkook and made him feel thankful that he wasn't to ask about that specific situation. He was already having a rough time processing what happened and he didn't need anyone asking about it. He'll open up when he feels he's ready.

"Thank you for not pushing that subject." Jungkook said with a painful smile, while Jin returned a sad smile himself.

"Shall we get to the questions now or do you want to wait a bit?" Jin asked, not wanting to push him too much.

"Let's just do it now and get it over with." Jungkook replied looking at Jin in anticipation.

"Okay, let's get the worst question out of the way first. My mate wants to know how this whole state of events began. We noticed that the pack you came from has been doing some pretty suspicious thing and have been looking into it for a couple months now and any information we can get would be helpful." Jin looked at Jungkook hoping that the taboo subject was not part of the leading events.

"Well, when I came back from taking a walk in the woods, the head alpha literally broke into my home and was sitting on my couch. Apparently his friend told him that I had something he wanted but knew that I wouldn't talk to him. If I'm being honest, the entire pack thinks I'm mute so I had to reply to him on a piece of paper saying I didn't have it. They scared me rightfully so, because even the piece of paper ticked him off and it led to me being dragged across pack grounds with the series of events happening next." Jungkook said sadly, but glad that Jin wasn't pushing to know the next series of events.

"Do you happen to know what he's looking for?" Jin asked getting his mind off the bad things the alpha did to him.

"I don't know what he is looking for but I do know that people in the pack are coming up missing and dying. He ordered his head general to find this item no matter the cost, so the general would capture people and tourture them to get information and if they didn't have the information that he wanted or didn't tell him anything at all, he would kill them." Jungkook said sadly, while shocking Jin with this information.

"Well that means that the thing he is looking for is important and will have to figure out what it is in case it's something dangerous. Anyway, on to my next question. I wanted to ask how you got through my forcefield." Jin asks in genuine curiosity because it's not everyday someone just walks onto their pack's territory.

"I honestly don't know. I first noticed it after I had fallen to the ground shortly after crossing your territory, when the people chasing me tried to cross and take me back to the head alpha." Jungkook said, puzzling Jin even more.

"Well that leads me to my next question because it might help explain why you were able to cross so easily. As you know I have the power to create forcefields, so I want to know if you have any powers that have to deal with animal?" Jin asked, puzzling Jungkook.

"I do actually. I can talk to animals and nature, but how would that be able to help me get through the forcefield?." He asked Jin.

"Well the forcefield only let's in things that are innocent and have ill intentions which usually tend to be animals. I figured that if you had any affiliation with animals then your personality would probably be similar to theirs, allowing you to cross the border." Jin said and Jungkook cooed in understanding.

"Ah, that makes sense! My personality is quite similar since I'm able to talk to them!" Jungkook said in excitement as Jin smiled at him.

"You have a wonderful gift and I'm glad you use it wisely. There's too many people that are using their powers trying gain what the royals left behind after there assasination" Jin said, while Jungkook nodded in agreement before something clicked in his head.

"Jin, what if the thing that the head alpha is looking for, the thing that the royals had left behind?" Jungkook asked as Jin looked at him with a smile on his face.

"Well, I guess our pack will actually have to join in and try to find it before anyone like your old pack gets it. That way everyone can be safe and peace can return." Jin said with a smile, while Jungkook returned the smile back. The response reassured Jungkook and he was glad that he made the right choice by running away and crossing into this territory.
