Part 8: Introductions and Healing

     After Jungkook was done eating, a nurse came in and checked everything while telling him the extent of his injuries while Jin sat silently, listening to the conversation. In all honesty, he himself was shocked that he lived with the extent of his injuries. The nurse proceeded to tell him that it was probably going to be a week to two weeks before he left because they wanted to make sure he was healing nicely and he told them that it was fine with it which made the nurse sigh in relief. Jungkook concluded that a lot of their people must want to leave quickly by the reaction from the nurse.

     Shortly after the nurse left Jimin ran into the room with a couple people following behind him. His excitement had made both Jungkook and Jin giggle at him because he looked like a dog that was just given a bone by his owner.

"You seem happy." Jungkook said to Jimin, catching his attention.

"That's cause I get to see you!" Jimin said, which made some of the people behind him gag by how chessy he was being. Jungkook looked back at the others in wonder and Jimin seemed to notice it.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you to the others. The one on the very right with purple/pink hair is Namjoon and he's the pack alpha." Jimin said introducing the first person and they exchanged greetings.

"The one next to him with the black hair that has a soft blue-teal color is Yoongi and the one next to him with pink silver pink highlights is his mate Hoseok but we call him Hobi. They were the ones that found you and ran you here" Jimin said, catching Jungkook's attention. They quickly exchanged greetings and Jungkook humbly thanked them for saving his life and they told them that they didn't have a problem with it and were glad he survived. Jimin then went on to introduce the last person that was bouncing quietly on his heels full of excitement,

"The last person with brown hair is my best friend Taehyung but we all call him Tae." Jimin said giggling at how Tae had quickly ran to Jungkook's other side and started to talk a mile a minute catching Jungkook of guard.

"Although I would like to reply to what you just said, I can't because I didn't understand a word you said because you were talking too fast." Jungkook said making everyone in the room bust out laughing at his response.

"Opps." Taehyung said which made everyone laugh even harder. Once everyone had calmed down, Jungkook decided to introduce himself.

"Hello! My name is Jungkook and my wolf's name is Kookie! It's a pleasure to meet you all!"

     Everyone thought that his response was cute and wanted to protect him no matter the cost. To them, it was hard to believe that such a friendly omega was put in such a position and it upset all of them.

"So do you know when you will be released from here?" Namjoon asked and Jungkook nodded his head.

"The nurse said that I should be able to leave in a week or two." Jungkook said with a smile making everyone coo at him.

"That's great, I thought that they might want to keep you longer because of the extent of your injuries but it turns out I was wrong. Now all we have to do is figure out your living arrangements. I figured that it would probably be best if you live in the pack house since that is also where Jimin lives. Would you be okay with that?" Namjoon asked.

"Ah, I totally forgot about living arrangements. I guess I will be fine living there, but are you guys sure you want me there." Jungkook said hesitantly and unsure about the situation.

"We would love to have you there!" Tae shouted in excitement that made everyone giggle at his outburst.

"Well if everyone else is okay with it, then I'm good with it." Jungkook said more confident with his response this time.

     After a couple of hours of talking the others had to leave and do their duties to keep that pack running smoothly. Namjoon had relieved Jimin of his duties that day since he had just met his mate that was currently in the hospital and he wanted to give them some time to spend with each other and get to know one another.

"How are you feeling?" Jimin asked for the third time that day which made Jungkook laugh.

"I'm doing fine. My entire body hurts but I guess that's better than being dead." Jungkook said with a sad smile, which made Jimin growl at the thought of Jungkook dying.

"I'll make sure that you never ended up in such a situation again. Ill protect you with my life." Jimin said sincerely to Jungkook which made him cry tears of happiness.

"Thank you for caring so much." Jungkook whispered.

"I'll always care." Jimin replied which filled Jungkook's soul with happiness. He really couldn't ask for a better mate and was glad that Jimin was his.

"Anyway, I had something I wanted to ask you." Jimin said, making Jungkook's ears perk up.

"What is it?" Jungkook asked in curiosity. While Jimins cheeks flared a bright pink.

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date once the doctors realise you and give you the okay to leave." Jimin said shyly, looking Jungkook directly in his eyes. Jungkook's cheeks flushed a bright pink as he was thinking of a response.

"I would like that." Jungkook quietly said which made Jimin jump in his seat in excitement.

     Jungkook just giggled at his excitement. It was the first time he's ever felt this happy and he wanted to enjoy it to the best of his ability so they sat there for the rest of the day, talking and getting to know each other.
