NINA'S POV
I was rethinking about my decision after the recording Stephen made me heard , What should I do ? should I continue with my plan or not ? I thought about it . But I can't let her hurt dad and Julian as I was about to reply
" According to the law every couple gets a reconciliation period before the divorce is finalised as the reason for is not intense we will get a period of three months to reconcile " I heard Nathan said which took me by surprise .
"But baby , this law doesn't apply for us" I heard Cara said in high tone .
That's when I heard the door opening with bang . Who was it ? was it Dad or someone else ?
" This law does apply to Nathan and sil as I asked my lawyer friend about it " I heard familiar voice said and then it struck me that the voice belonged to Julian .
I was confused about the whole situation now about what was happening ? why all of the sudden Nathan is talking about reconciliation . What has destiny planned for me when I wanted him he didn't wanted me and now that I don't want this relation he isn't letting me go .
" Nathan , what the hell is going on ? we didn't talk about any reconciliation yesterday then why do you want it now ?" asked Cara .
" Well I decided that I should my and Nina's relation with a good note and not by a sad note so I want you to be friends for three months so that we will atleast remain friends " said Nathan .
" Nina , what do you think about this all ?" asked Nathan to me .
"If its the law then even I can't say no to it " I said .
" I am leaving " said Cara and then I heard door being opened and closed with the bang .
I need to talk with Nathan about what I was going on with his mind .
" Can you all leave me and Nathan alone for few time ?" I asked .
" Sure " I heard two voices say of Julian and Stephen .
" Nathan can I ask you something ?" I asked.
" I don't get it Nina till yesterday you were not planning to let me go and now because of the accident you want me let you go ? what about the promises you made to my parents about never letting me go ? why now ?" He asked in an irritated tone .
" Because someone said me that I can't live my life and except what was happening to me was my faith for life . You always wanted divorce Nathan , I am giving it to you , you always took Cara's side against me now you don't have side anyone you can live with Cara " I said .
" Nina can I ask you something ?" He asked .
" Yes " I said .
" Have you ever regreted something so much that you wish it should have not happened ?" He asked .
" Yes , I did when I lost my brother . I still do regret my decision of asking him to drive me to my friends house " I said with tears forming in my eyes .
" You don't regret us marrying ?" He asked .
" I don't but I am sure you regret marrying me " I said .
"I ...I ..." stammered Nathan.
" What ?" I asked knowing his answer was Yes .
But that's when I felt a pair of lips on my lips .He is going to regret it .But then he started kissing me. I didn't knew what to do ? should I kiss him back ? I decided to do so but before I could kiss him back he backed away .
" Regret " I said in my mind .
" No I don't " He said . Wait ! did I say it loud .......
