I am bright and full of life.
I wonder when the light will shine upon my petals again.
I hear the music of the garden.
I want to spread my roots deep into the rich soil.
I am bright and full of life.
I pretend that I may survive through each season.
I feel the breeze of bumblebee wings fluttering on my face.
I touch the Earth below me.
I worry that I one day won't be able to feel the sun.
I cry for my inevitable wilting.
I am bright and full of life.
I understand that I will live on through my seeds, and this fills me with joy.
I say, "Let the changing seasons take me away."
I dream to one day extend beyond this sky I know.
I try to live. To grow. To flourish.
I hope wonderful things may sprout in my place.
I am bright and full of life.
