Go ahead,
Take your own life.
But just remember,
That no one cares about bones.
Maybe they are still worth something,
When the flesh is still breathing,
And the meat still pulsing.
But once you are six feet under,
And the worms have had their way,
You are nothing more
Than a collection of memories
Fading from the minds
Of those who once loved you.
So,
Make your decisions wisely.
Because we all return our bodies to the Earth
Once we are through with them.
Just make sure you have worn your skin well
Before you decide
To throw it away.
