Dear the boy who hates remedial Potions,

It sucks that you've had a hard time since returning to Hogwarts. I still stand by what I said, and I will gladly Floo to Hogwarts and take out anyone who is making your life difficult.

Double Potions with Snivellus Snape? No wonder you had a shit day.

(I will forever be thankful to Snuffles for giving us that glorious name for Snape. As you know I'm a sucker for a good nickname. And I must say, this one is particularly creative. 10/10 for Snuffles.)

Who cares if some people think you're stupid? The people that matter in your life know the truth, and know exactly why you are seeing Snape. We also know that you are by no means stupid. You give these students at Hogwarts too much power over you. I get it, I really do but you shouldn't let them get to you so much.

Each year you give them power over you. Second year, you let them call you the Heir of Slytherin. You let them isolate you. You let them get under your skin. This year, they are doing the exact same again. They are isolating you from everyone else. They are calling you out to be some liar when you are not. And you're letting them. You need to do something that will show them, prove to them that you've been the one telling the truth all along. If you can convince the school, then the next step will be the Ministry.

With that being said, like I said, hold on. A few more months and then summer will be upon us and then you can escape for six weeks. Albeit it'll be with the Dursleys, which is not an ideal situation for anyone, but I'll be nearby. You might even get to stay with Snuffles for the summer or with the Weasley's. Think of how fun that'll be! And maybe I'll be there too, I don't know how long this escorting thing is going to go on for.

You might not like Snape near your memories but if what Snape said is true and Voldemort could access your mind and memories, then its crucial that you master Occlumency. When Snape was talking about it to you with Snuffles, I hadn't realised the weight of it all, especially because I was worried about Snuffles and Snape's obvious history between one another and the fear that they might kill eachother. And I know Snape is vile, I've seen it first hand (not that I needed much persuasion from what you already told me about him) but you need to focus in his lessons and learn to fight against Voldemort. After all, these can make your nightmares stop which is what you've always wanted. So you'll be rewarded in the end, even if you are suffering now.

I don't know about Snape weakening you purposely. On the one hand, he hates you, he's vile, and many people including you and Snuffles still think he's on Voldemort's side. But on the other hand, why would Dumbledore let an ex-Death Eater so close to his inner circle if he didn't know Snape could be trusted 100%? If you are that worried about Snape, talk to someone. Anyone who you think you can trust.

I would tell Snuffles, only I'm afraid he will do something reckless. Besides, I have a feeling you won't want me to tell him regardless.

Yes, I saw about the mass breakout. Snuffles and Bill were talking about it over breakfast the morning it was announced in the Prophet. Its awful, isn't it? Just when we think things can't get any worse.

Of course Umbridge is monitoring classes. That is like the most Umbridge thing Umbridge could do. Any way to assert her dominance. I'm sorry about your Divination teacher. What happened to her? I'm sure Dumbledore wouldn't have been happy about Trelawney getting sacked though. Did he do anything? And do you have to drop the subject now you've got no teacher?

I hope she doesn't sack Hagrid or any other teacher for that matter. This just solidifies our thoughts about the Ministry getting involved with Hogwarts. They are not only getting involved, they are taking over.

Don't worry about me, Harry. I won't let a few stupid rumours get to me. Of course I haven't told my parents, they'd be heartbroken. They hate the mere thought of anyone being mistreated, so imagine how they will react when they find out people are accusing them of doing the mistreating.

No, I don't think Remus can do anything. If it doesn't get any better, and the rumours continue, I'll ask and see if Remus can do something about it.

Don't be sorry, it's not your fault.

As for what Fred and George said, they are out of luck. For one, the Order let me know nothing. Two, when they are in meetings they use all sorts of enchantments to stop me over hearing anything. The Extendable Ears are useless, they must put enchantments on the doors to stop anything creeping under them because when I tried, the Ear got nowhere near close. It was like a barricade was blocking it.

I'll keep trying though.

And don't forget I'm always here.

I know I said this in Grimmauld Place when we were together, but at the time I meant it as like an offhand comment. Don't get me wrong, I still meant it. Anyway, the point is, I have a feeling that you might need to hear this right about now but I love you, Harry. So don't give up. I want to be able to see you in person again so I can say it to your face. But properly this time.

Love,

the girl who loves you.
