Time is strange. Like I'm aware of how fast the days are going, yet it also almost feels painfully slow.

Dumbledore had no choice but to let Umbridge in. He has no control over the Ministry of Magic, nor any authority and the Ministry wanted Umbridge to teach at Hogwarts so there was nothing anyone could do. As for his decision to hire Snape, I have nothing to justify that, except that yes he made mine and Neville's life's hell.

I'm the same. I feel like what I did do was passable but I definitely got some questions wrong, there is no doubt about it. I gave them a go which is the main thing anything.

I bet you've done an amazing job, Ellie, you should be proud of yourself. If I'm being completely honest, I didn't really pay attention to how the exam was structured, I just concentrated on trying to answer as many questions as I could. On the brightside, I have my last exam on Thursday so the end is near and we can rejoice in the peace and quiet we will finally have. No more exams Ellie!...until next year but that's besides the point.

My last exams are History of Magic and Astronomy, possibly the most boring subject to end all the exams. In the Muggle world you have a month of exams don't you, so you still have about two weeks left of exams right? I think your exams are spread out more than in my world because we have them back to back pretty much at Hogwarts.

Fred and George did enough pranking to cover all of us. I do love a good prank though, maybe if my years at Hogwarts went by differently and I had a normal life, perhaps I would have been more like my father. Everyone always say I look more like my father, and that I only inherited my mothers eyes. But then I remember when I met Lupin in my third year and he told me that I have more of my mother in my personality than my father. Who knows what would have happened if things had been different?

I still see the carefree, sarcastic, witty and energetic Ellie I first met. I think you have grown up slightly though, I mean we all have, we've had no choice with this war. But I don't think it's a bad change and I don't think you've changed as drastically as you think. Besides, like you said, all the small changes have been good changes. But I know you said you miss the old Ellie, but I promise she is still there. I see her every time I read a letter of yours, or I look you in the eyes.

Hopefully by the time you get this letter I would have finished my History of Magic exam and then you only have a few more exams to do yourself. Wish me luck, I might just need it for History of Magic, its always a battle to stay awake in that lesson.
