Dear the girl who knows nothing,

Oh, believe me I know I was lucky. I can promise you I won't be going back there anytime soon. Or ever.

Yeah I know Mrs. Weasley would be angry. I know she loves them but honestly the best thing she can do for them is let them open the joke shop. I mean the twins have been going on about it for years, they are obviously very serious about it. Besides, I think the world could do with some cheering up and what better way to do it then with jokes?

I know Mrs. Weasley will come around eventually. She always does. She seems mad at first but then she softens up. And I know she will be proud of Fred and George when she sees what they can accomplish.

It's been a week and people are still talking about it. It's crazy. They've even started saying things like "if they give us anymore homework I'm going to pull a Weasley." Fred and George would be proud.

Don't worry, no one at Hogwarts have had that used on them for punishment yet and no one is in a rush to be the first. We'll be fine.

I'm glad you have more company now with the addition of the twins. Hopefully you don't get into too much trouble with them, I don't think Mrs. Weasley would like that. Also if Dung is there, I'd hate to imagine what you all would get up to.

Don't worry about trying to find anything out. We knew it was a lost cause in the summer. Just focus on staying safe.

I forgot to mention in my last letter that I had my careers advice finally. Everyone had an hour slot to talk about their options with their Head of House. Mine is Professor McGonagall, who is also the Transfiguration Professor. She's nice but strict.

Anyway, take one guess who sat in on my talk with McGonagall. I bet I don't even have to say her name, do I?

When Professor McGonagall asked me what I wanted to do after school, I panicked and said an Auror. While that does seem like a good option, I still don't know if that's what I want to do.

I had already said it, so I didn't bother to correct myself. It was all going normal, McGonagall gave me some leaflets and pamflets about being an Auror and she was talking to me about what lessons I need to continue to take to be able to be an Auror. It's just my luck that you have to take advanced potions.

So we were going through all my strong points, McGonagall said that if I study then I should be able to pass everything I'm required to to become an Auror but that was when Umbridge got involved.

Long story short, she basically said I had absolutely no chance to become an Auror because my Defense Against the Dark Arts grade was failing but McGonagall stuck up for me and said something like "my apologies, I meant every competent Professor said Harry was a natural at the subject."

It was pretty cool but obviously Umbridge didn't like that. They got in an argument but eventually I got kicked out and Professor McGonagall said I should leave. I left but not before McGonagall promised me that she would do everything in her power to make sure I became an Auror if that was what I wanted.

So all in all, it was an eventful session. And Umbridge has been even more vile to me because of it.

Anyway, how's school for you? Have you chosen a university yet? Do you know what you are going to study?

Sorry the letter is short but I've got to go, I'm writing this in class but Professor Flitwick is coming.

Love,

the boy who might be an Auror.

(Sorry about not updating last week! Enjoy!)
