'So, Max bailed.' I lie to Maddie instead of telling her I just broke up with him.

'Why?' Maddie asks surprised.
'His mother needed him. So, please don't interrupt me on what I'm about to suggest. Can you do that?' I ask Maddie.
'Yeah, I guess I can.' Maddie answers curiously.

'I told you that Harry is throwing a-'
'No! No, no, no! We are not crashing your ex-boyfriend's party!' Maddie immediately interrupts me. I sigh, giving her a look.

'Right, I'm sorry. Keep going.' She says.
'So, Harry invited me. He told me that we didn't have to talk to him, or even look at him. He also said that it would be much better than the cheap pub we are about to go to, and I think he's right. We don't have to talk to him, we just go to his house, ignore him, get drunk, and go.' I explain.

'We don't have to pay anything, right?' Maddie asks for reassurance.

'You're forgetting he's literally in a world famous boyband, Maddie. He doesn't need money.' I answer. Maddie bites her lip, something she always does when she's thinking.

'Okay. We're going. But you have to promise me that you're not talking to Harry tonight.' She says then.
'I promise.' I lie again. Harry is literally the number one main reason why I want to go to this party.

'Okay, then we're going! Fancy. Can I straighten your hair?' Maddie asks.
'No, I want my curls.' I answer.
'Please! I promise I'll make it look natural.' Maddie begs. I sigh.

'Okay. Don't let me down!' I tell then. Maddie jumps up and rushes to my hair straightener.

Maddie and I are already pretty wasted when we arrive to the party a few hours over twelve. We did tequila shots before we left.

'I'm just gonna tell Harry happy birthday.' I tell Maddie. Maddie grabs my arm to keep me from walking away.

'You promised that you wouldn't talk to him.' She reminds me. I pull my arm out of her grip.

'He might be my ex, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna be such a pathetic dick and not even wish him a happy birthday on his nineteenth.' I tell her.

'I'll be back in two minutes. Find yourself a hot guy in the meantime to hook up with.' I say.
'My eye is on that guy.' Maddie says. I might be tripping, but she's pointing at Liam.

Yes, Liam from One Direction. Yes, Liam Payne.

'Am I tripping, or are you pointing at Liam?' I ask Maddie, just to make sure. Maddie looks at me and starts laughing really loud.

'Who else do you think I'm pointing at, honey? He's literally the only hot guy in the area!' She says through her laughs.

'Are you crushing on Liam?' I ask surprised.
'I have been for months now.' Maddie answers.
'He has a girlfriend!' I hiss.
'Just let me pull a Taylor Swift, thank you.' Maddie says before walking to Liam.

She's so wasted. Going after Liam Payne. Who's taken. For gods sake.

'Hi, I don't believe we met.' A girl's voice says from beside me. I turn to look at the girl, and look straight in the eyes of...

Taylor Swift.

'I don't believe we did.' I say to her, a fake smile on my face. I hate that bitch.

(A/N: NO PERSONAL HATE TO TAYLOR, I LOVE HER, THIS IS JUST A FANFICTION)

'I'm Taylor.' She says.
'I know, I'm not stupid.' I answer sarcastically. Taylor gives me a shocked look.
