'There you are. What took you so long?' Mum asks when she sees me.

'I had a little disagreement with Harry.' I tell. Liam coughs really loud and fake, drawing basically everyone's attention.

'Harry was just messing with you, Liam.' I say to him, not caring that everyone can hear me.

'I hope so.' Liam answers.
'What did Harry say to Liam?' Mum asks.
'Nothing. Anyways, why were you looking for me?' I reply. Mum looks at me in some type of way.

'Let's take a walk around here. I'm curious on what it looks like backstage.' She says then.
'Sure.' I shrug, and I walk after her.

'What were you and Harry arguing about?' Mum asks after having have made sure no one was around.

'Um, he thought it was stupid of me to tell management that I went on stage by myself because I could've been forbidden from going to any One Direction concert forever.' I tell.
'But you were just trying to help him out.' Mum says confused.

'I know, right! He just got so angry over that! And then he started saying other stuff I really didn't like, and then I- Then he was annoying and suddenly wanted to use my cherry chapstick even though he knew it would make his lips red and he told Liam some bullshit and now Liam will never look at me in the same way again. I really hate him so much.' I preach.

'What did he say to Liam?' Mum asks.
'Nothing. It doesn't matter.' I answer.
'It does. It's clearly bothering you. You can tell me anything. You know that, right?' Mum tells.

I sigh, knowing that what Harry told Liam isn't a lie. I just don't want my mum to find out what I just did to Harry in that room, which I'm guessing is pretty understandable.

'It's not bothering me. The argument we had is bothering me. Not the Liam thing.' I explain.
'But I wanna know what he said to Liam to make you think Liam won't look at you in the same way as before.' Mum tells. I sigh again, raising my eyebrows once.

'Look, I don't wanna talk about it with you, alright? You're my mother, and some things are not meant for your ears. I'd rather discuss stuff like this with girls of my own age. You understand me?' I explain.
'But it didn't happen, right? What Harry told Liam? It was a lie, right?' Mum asks.

She's onto me.

'Of course it didn't happen.' I tell.
'Then why can't you tell me? I've talked dirty with boyfriends too, you know.' Mum says.
'What? Who said anything about dirty?' I scoff.
'Your eyes, your body language, everything about you.' Mum answers.

'Whoa, mum, truly. Whoa.' I say.
'You can tell me what Harry said to Liam. It's not true. It didn't happen. So why be so secretive about it?' Mum asks.
'I-'

'Unless it did happen.' Mum interrupts me.
'What? No!' I scoff.
'Honey, you really must work on your lying skills. I don't recommend for you to become an actress.' Mum tells.

'You must work on your lie-detector skills, they're giving you false information.' I snap.
'Olivia, I've known you since you were born. Don't you think I can't tell when you're lying?' Mum asks.

'Is she lying again?' The last voice I wanna hear says from behind us. Instead of turning around, I look at my phone.

'It hasn't been ten minutes. Go away.' I say.
'Hey, Harry. What did you say to Liam that made Olivia acting really suspicious and secretive?' Mum asks shamelessly. Harry chuckles awkwardly, while I turn around to look at him.
